Baked Potato Skins

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
So good and so easy! I microwaved the potatoes and used smaller potatoes and they worked great. The seasoning mix is so tasty that I am going to use it on my roasted potatoes. Yummy!

Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2010
I used a lemon box cake (I added 1 tsp vanilla to it and substituted butter for the oil) and purchased lemon curd, but made the layers and used the frosting recipe from this. Everyone loved it. Tasted like something from a bakery.

Awesome Korean Steak

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
Great recipe! Yummy! Tastes like something you would eat in a restaurant!I didn't have any shallots, so I used green onions instead and it worked fine. I also cut the meat into strips before I marinated it and I only marinated it for about 3 1/2 hours and it still tasted awesome!

Baked Cheese Olives

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
Very good! I made 2 batches of these and the second one I added 1/4 cup more of flour to make them a little less cheesy. I also added olive juice to the mixture to make it easier to work with. That worked great!

Lemonade Pie III

Good flavor, but it didn't set well in the fridge. Freezer worked best. But it was very easy to make!

BLT Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
This is a very good salad. I only used about 1/2 of the basil that it called for and that was plenty. I made it for a party and everyone commented on how much they liked it. I will definitely make it again.

Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
This was pretty good, but not great. I think the Ranch style beans and the chili powder had similar flavors, so next time I think I will try cumin instead of chili powder. But the addition of beans are a nice change from some of the other mexican casseroles.

Bob's Awesome Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2007
This is a great and easy recipe. I followed some of the other reviewer's advice and added an egg to the cottage cheese mixture. I also try and buy the no-boil lasagna. It works the best. I think the type of spaghetti sauce you pick can make a difference. I always use Ragu Tomato, Garlic and Onion with a small can of tomato sauce added to it. I love the taste of it in this recipe! I have even made this with whole wheat lasagna and it was still really good! I do cover it with foil now for the first half of it cooking since i was having trouble with the cheese burning. Thanks for the recipe!

Green Bean Casserole I

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2007
I like this recipe, although I do make a few changes. I always use French style green beans and I cut the milk down to 1/2 cup. I don't like runny casseroles. But it is a good recipe for holidays!

Florentine Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2007
This is a really good recipe that you can change up very easily. I have made it with marinated artichokes and plain artichokes and I have people who have asked me for the recipe for both kinds. I prefer it with marinated artichokes, but I have friends who love this recipe with the plain. Great recipe!!

Creamy Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2007
I really like this recipe. Sometimes banana bread can taste so bland and the brown sugar and cinnamon definitely add something. I used 3 bananas (2 cups) and omitted the pecans and it came out really moist. I also used real butter, not margarine. The vanilla gave it a little more of a cake flavor than I sometimes want in a bread; most quick bread recipes don't add extracts, it the cake recipes that do that. So, if you want it to be more bread like, you might leave that out. Also, you could cook this in a bundt cake pan and put brown sugar/cinnamon mixture in the bottom of the pan before you put in the batter. That might make for a really pretty and yummy banana bundt cake. This is my new favorite banana bread recipe!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
These were okay. I think I just prefer the Cinnamon Roll Recipe II better. This recipe took more work and the rolls were only okay. The frosting is good, though. I prefer the other recipes where they cinnamon rolls taste like the soft yeast kind that your grandmother used to make.

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

I did not think these were moist at all. I have made so many recipes from this web site and this one is not worth trying at all.

Swiss Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
This is a really easy good recipe. I added 1/2 cup white wine to it and it added a lot. I think the chicken and mushroom soup tastes the best, but it makes it very rich. You can use the low fat soups and cheeses and it still tastes good. I think the type of stuffing that you chose makes a difference and my favorite is Pepperidge Farms' herb seasoned stuffing. I think it compliments the chicken and sauce really well. One tip is to mix the wet ingredients with the stuffing and then pour it on top. That makes it really moist. Also, I cut the butter in half and it was PLENTY!

Lemon Pudding Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2007
These were very easy, but not that sweet. I melted white chocolate on top to sweeten them up, but they still taste like lemon flavored biscuits. My husband loved them though.

Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
I used Dunkin Hines Buttercream icing instead of cream cheese and it turned out really good. I also used a little more banana than called for since I had a bunch to use up. I only made half the recipe, so I put it in a square pan. Turned out more like a cake than a bar, but still really good.
