Amazingly Good Eggnog
OUTSTANDING! The first time I made it, I made a half-batch (just in case), but that was totally unneccessary! The first person who tried it actually asked how much I was selling it for - he thought it was that good!
I forgot to buy the light cream (oops!) but substituted the equivalent in 2% milk, and it still tasted great and was still about the right consistency.
Chose not to add the alcohol, either, but added 2 tsp. rum extract/flavoring and that seemed to work well, too! Overall, a fantastic recipe... will be making this a lot, I can tell!
