Amazing Simple Thai Tofu

This recipe is delicious! I love finding new ways to cook tofu and this flavor combination was a pleasant surprise. I served it over brown rice and it tasted very good. I did make the mistake of buying the ingredients without noticing that it only serves 2!! There are 6 of us but it still worked out because 3 of my children would not eat it (note to parents!). I plan on making this again, hopefully my kids will be a little braver next time! Thanks for the great recipe.

Crispy Chinese Noodles with Eggplant and Peanuts

This dish is absolutely delicious!! I wasn't sure when I saw the combination of ingredients but in my search for great tasting vegetarian recipes I gave it a shot and I am so glad I did! The end result is wonderful. I will say that it is not very kid friendly as 3 of my 4 children wouldn't touch it but my husband and I loved it so it will be a staple in my house from now on. Serving it with the crispy noodles on top makes for a nice presentation so it would be a really nice meal to make for company. Thank you for the excellent recipe!!

White Chocolate Covered Pretzels

These are VERY yummy!! Do know that even though it says to use a 15 oz. bag of pretzels, this amount of chocolate will cover probably only 1/5 of them. I melted the chocolate along with 1 Tbsp. of shortening in the microwave for 1 minute and then stirred until smooth. The shortening keeps the chocolate smooth and it won't stick to the bowl. Then I sprinkled them with crushed candy cane and drizzled a little semi-sweet chocolate over the top. Not only are they delicious but they look beautiful! Next time I'll double the amount of chocolate so I can make more pretzels. :)

Fasoliyyeh Bi Z-Zayt (Syrian Green Beans with Olive Oil)

I made this a side dish and it was a big hit! My husband does NOT generally like green beans but devoured these! Next time I'll double it so everyone can have seconds. Thanks for the great recipe!!

Egg Yolk Painted Christmas Cookies

My kids had fun painting these cookies but they are not pretty and they have practically no taste. The sugar cookie itself is a decent recipe, but instead of the egg yolk paint make a confectioners' sugar glaze and ice the baked cookies after they cool. They look and taste much better.

Yummy Rainbow Cake

This is a very pretty cake and it was a nice presentation for my daughter's birthday. Aside from looking nice, I don't think the candy-coated chocolate pieces worked with this recipe. And the white cake paired with the whipped topping was just not a flavorful enough. I think this recipe really needs a regular frosting to give it more taste. I love the idea of this cake though and will make it again using pink tinted vanilla frosting and more of the rainbow sprinkles on top instead of the candies.

Better Than Sex Cake II

I must admit it felt a little weird telling my mother I was making a "Better Than Sex Cake" for my little boys 1st birthday, but it was VERY delicious and everyone loved it. I expected it to be more rich but it was surprisingly light tasting (I think it was the whipped topping instead of a regular frosting). I will definitely make this one again. Thanks for the awesome recipe!!

Cranberry Nut Bread I

Excellent recipe! I served this on Thanksgiving morning and it was a big hit. It is very moist and the orange flavor makes it so good. It's also a very pretty bread and would be perfect for holiday gift giving.

Apricot/Cranberry Chutney

WOW. I've tried several "whole-cranberry" sauces over the years (in an attempt not to serve can-shaped cranberry sauce) but this one is by far the best! The apricots and raisins give the tart cranberries just enough sweetness. This will be on my Thanksgiving menu from now on!! Thanks for the recipe!

Cranberry Meatballs

These are AWESOME!! I served them as a Thanksgiving appetizer and the meat-eaters were just as impressed. I had a hard time crumbling the patties (maybe it is just the brand I buy), so next time I think I will just buy Smart Ground or another ground beef alternative. But there will definitely be a next time!! Thanks for the great recipe!!

Pineapple Enchiladas

These were awesome! We are vegan, so I used soy cheese and non-dairy sour cream and they turned out great. My three older kids were not as impressed although my 11 month old baby gobbled them up! A nice change from the usual bean burritos. Thanks for the great recipe!!

Easy Pasta Salad

I made this salad last night and will definitely make it again. It is soooo tasty, and also looks pretty and is super fast to make. It doesn't need any extra marinade, but next time I will probably add some extra artichokes just because I like them so much :)Thanks for the great recipe!

Carrie's Artichoke and Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

This is unbelievably delicious! With the exception of slicing up some fresh mushrooms, this required no effort besides opening a few jars of artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes. It was ready in no time and got rave reviews! My husband was very impressed although my children didn't care for it. Oh well, I will definately make it again anyway! Thanks for the great recipe!!

African Sweet Potato and Peanut Soup

This soup is very good. It has such a unique combination of flavors. I love peanut butter so I doubled the amount called for and it turned out great. The leftovers actually tasted better the next day so I think next time I'll make it ahead of time, since it is fairly time consuming to make.

Chocolate Covered Peppermint Patties

These are soooo good! These were a definite favorite of everyone over the holidays. This recipe makes alot, which is good because as rich as they are, they still disappear FAST! I was thinking about making them in heart shapes for Valentines Day :)
