Sweet and Silky Strawberry Sorbet

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
Delicious! My only adaptation is to cut the lemon juice in half. It turns out quite tangy with the 3 tablespoons.

Perfect! Wonderful recipe that is so much better than any mango sorbet I've tasted in a shop.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
Excellent! I made a gluten-free version by replacing the Worchestershire sauce with cider vinegar and sugar, and using GF flour instead of regular. Turned out wonderful.

Buche de Noel

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2011
I have made this 3 times. Frankly, this is better than ANY other version of a Buche de Noel that I've ever tried. The cake is so delicate, and the mousse is to die for. Everyone loves this cake when I make it.

Vegetable Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
Delicious! I made a few changes: used light mayonnaise, replaced grated onion with 1/2 t minced dried onion, and used 1/4 t tarragon + 3 t white vinegar. Took it to my book group and everyone asked me what was in the dip.

Zinfandel Barbeque Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
I would have rated it a 5, but the soy sauce made it WAY too salty. In the future, I will probably use a mix of half soy sauce, half water. Otherwise, it was really tasty, unique, and definitely NOT your typical BBQ sauce.

Unbelievable Fish Batter

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2012
My son's on a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, so beer battered fish is out of the question. I made this with coconut milk and it turned out fantastic! Thanks for the "beerless" option!
