Cinnamon Rolls III

Fantastic! Only wanted to make 12 so scaled the recipe but added entire box of vanilla pudding and whole egg. Did not change anything else and they were so good. Used some vanilla buttercream icing I had in the fridge and it made the rolls. Thanks!

Quick and Easy Home Fries

Followed a couple of recommendations by other reviewers: used part olive oil and part butter, added some grated onion, and cooked uncovered for about 25 mintues. Really great!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Only okay for me and I would not make it again. I found the meatballs okay but bland when made as per directions. Just needed something more. The sauce needed more flavour and some spice. I used fresh basil and still needed zip. I did not find it overly sweet but did add only 1 tsp of salt as it just seemed like too much. Probably just my taste but if you are looking for a really tasty spaghetti sauce with meatballs, I would not make this.

Satiny Chocolate Glaze

This is 5 star!! Easy to make and does not run down (and off a cake). I put it on my cake at night and in the morning it was set perfectly so I could cover it and the glaze did not stick to the waxed paper

Curried Winter Squash

Wow....really great recipe! I don't know why someone would say this was runny other than I don't think I'd use frozen squash if it was already the "runny" type. I used buttercup squash, baked it for an hour - the squash was really dry and when I added the remaining ingredients (just one tbsp of curry powder ), and cooked...yum...it was fantastic! I would definitely make this again.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Really great. The only change I made was to pour boiling water on the dried cranberries and let them sit for about 5 minutes then drained them thouroughly. No problem with dry cookie dough at all.

Krista's Sticky Honey Garlic Wings

Gobbled down by husband and nephews!! I made the recipe as directed with the exception of the water and cornstarch thickening, I only used about 3 tbsp of each. This produced saucy wings. I also made 1/2 times the sauce for about 40 wings, probably could have just gone with 1 recipe.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Excellent recipe. I took the advice of others and dipped in beaten egg before rolling the whole chickent breat in bread crumbs. Also let it sit for about 1/2 hour to get the bread crumbs to stick well. Served it with the Yummy Honey Mustard from this site. Definitely will make again.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Really delicious with the changes suggested by Jillybean. I used Beef Broth instead of boullion cube and waited until the end to add salt as I wasn't sure how salty this would be. I did add more pepper and salt at the end. I also used 1 cup of sour cream instead of cream cheese. I'll definitely make this again.

Mini Meatloaves

Great recipe and so tasty. I followed the recipe as written except added one chopped onion and a little Worcestershire sauce. They were moist and the sauce added lots of flavour (I made it as written and did not find it too sweet at all).

Peachy Chicken Picante

A really quick and easy recipe and oh so tasty. I wondered about the combination of salsa and orange juice with peaches but it worked perfectly. Definitely a recipe to keep around for anytime but especially when you need a quick meal.

Flank Steak with Garlic Wine Sauce

This recipe was pretty good but I think marinating the meat prior would have helped. I found the meat a bit "chewy". Overall though, the taste was excellent; I added a cup of beef broth and some mushrooms which I think really enhanced the flavour. I know that some said it takes a long time to reduce the liquid but mine was reduced in no time at all.
