Tostitos Hot Cheese Bake

This recipe was very good. I didn't have any cream cheese or chives, so I substituted "herb and garlic Laughing Cow Cheese". I also pre-fried the bacon slices a little bit because I don't like rubbery bacon. It turned out nicely but next time I will add a little curry powder and paprika to the sauce to kick it up a bit.

Dried Cherries, Pecans and Rosemary Brie en Croute

Made this for a Christmas gathering with my family. It was absolutely "to die for". Everyone raved about it. The only small change that I made was substituting dried currants for the cherries. (It was all I could find at the store) It turned out marvelous. Making it again for Easter appetizer and will add a little more rosemary and honey. Thank you for a wonderful recipe!

I would have given this 5 stars but the name is misleading. My husband and I thought that this would be similar to a dutch butter pound cake. This recipe is actually perfect for making kano coekjes (canoe cookies) which are another dutch dessert. They are typically long bar cookies with almonds on the top.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

I have made these pizza dough twice now and it turned out delicious both times! Very simple and easy to make even if you aren't a bread maker. Just make sure that the water isn't so hot that you kill the yeast...I did that twice.

Baked Pork Chops I

Made this last night for my husband and myself for dinner.(didn' use the white wine, because it's not something I have on hand) The pork was so tender and delicious. Well worth the wait for cooking time. I will be making this again in the near future when my parents visit...I know they will love it!

Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Burgers

This recipe was ok. The ground chicken just didn't mesh with the other ingredients. The next time I made it I used real half chicken breasts for these burgers and adding some melted jack or mozzerella cheese to it. Much better!

Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake I

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

These taste very similar to a famous seafood restaurant's cheesy biscuits. Very good recipe overall..the only small complaint is that they were quite dry. Next time I will add more of the garlic butter to the top!

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

I made this cheesecake when my parents came over for dinner one night. They loved it! My Mom raved about this for months. She even told relatives about it and said it tastes like something from a fancy restaurant. The only thing I changed was using raspberry jam that i reduced in a pan. (because it was all i had) Thanks for this recipe!

Glazed Ham

I used this recipe for our Easter ham yesterday and it was delicious! I cooked a 9.5 lb ham in the slowcooker. I think the slowcooker is a better idea because it seems to keep more of the moisture in and you can keep an eye on it more easily. I cooked it on high for 3 hours and then 4 hours on low. It was "melt in your mouth" delicious!

Broccoli Chicken Casserole II

I suggest serving this over white or brown rice...it's delicious! Pasta would be a second choice in my opinion. I have used this recipe for years now and it is one of my boyfriends' and my favourite dinners.

Absolutely the Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

I made these the other night and they were delicious! I used 1 cup of milk chocolate chips and 1 of semi-sweet. Also used half butter flavoured margarine and half shortening. Do NOT overcook!! Everyone loved them.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

These cookies were a great way to use all the pureed pumpkin I had leftover from halloween. :) They were very yummy and went in no time. The second time, I added a little maple syrup to the icing and it was great also. Thanks for the recipe Gina.
