To Die For Fettuccine Alfredo

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2013
Perfect Alfredo sauce. We were afraid it was too soupy, but once we tossed it in the pot with the cooked pasta, it clinged perfectly to the pasta. 5 stars all the way! Thanks for the recipe.

Baked Chicken and Stuffing

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2007
I am sorry, we just didn't like this recipe. Very salty and the cheese in the middle just melted into the soup and made a gloppy sauce.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2007
This was a great soup. My husband who sounded a little disappointed when I said we were having soup for dinner had two big bowls and said it was the best soup he's ever had! The only changes I made were instead of fresh tomatoes and a can of sauce, I used a large can of crushed tomatoes just because my son doesn't like tomato pieces in anything. Thanks for a great recipe. I will be using it again.

Puerto Rican Pork Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2007
This was a very good pork roast. I used a 5lb shoulder, therefore used half the amount of salt and pepper with the full amount of garlic. I did add the vinegar. I could have lightened the salt and pepper a bit more, it was quite salty. Overall though, the meat was tender and juicy and very seasoned. Just to note, I followed the recipe as far as preparing the meat, but slow roasted it on indirect heat on my gas grill. I wrapped it in foil for the first hour and then opened the foil for the second hour and a half. It was cooked perfectly. In the warmer months, I use the grill for many roasts, turkeys, etc using that method.

Baked Fennel with Parmesan

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
I love this recipe! I served this for a mixed crowd including kids and some picky adults and everybody raved about it. Will make again for sure. It had a fettucini alfredo taste without the carbs from the pasta.

Grilled Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
These were really good wings. I love that they were not fried and that the sauce did not have butter in it. I may have went a little heavy with the cayenne pepper because the family loved them but they certainly were hot. I would omit the cayenne pepper or use less hot sauce and more cola next time.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This was very good. The bread did stick to the pan a bit, but nobody minded. The sauce is what makes the dish. I don't think I will ever buy jarred caramel sauce again.

Grapefruit Orange Medley

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2006
I'm not sure what happened to the sauce. I guess I over-thickened it. I had to throw it out because it was quite solid. The recipe sounded good, just wish it had worked out better.

Brie and Cranberry Pizza

They were tasty but not incredible, thus the 3 stars. I used puff pastry sheets, whole berry cranberry sauce and double the amount of cheese.

Chestnut Soup

This was totally not worth the work involved. I made it for Thanksgiving dinner and took one taste of it and poured it down the garbage disposal. I am sorry, just being honest.
