No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
I bake a lot and this is my fiance's absolute FAVORITE. This is now on the top of his request list for any event. I definitely modified the recipe to suit our tastes: 2/3 of the tub of whipped topping, 1 cup powdered sugar, 2/3 cup creamy peanut butter, 2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter, 1/2 cup milk, 8 oz cream cheese. It made just over 1 pie so I spooned the rest into chocolate lined cupcake liners. The small ones were like homemade reese's! I will definitely try an entire batch of just the cupcake/reese's style with melted chocolate on top.

Easy Bake Fish

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
We bought poor quality fish but this recipe did not help much for it either. It's a bit too pungent and not complimentary to the fish.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
Delicious!!! Moist, banana-y, and dense. I would highly recommend cutting down the sugar to 1/2 cup because if you use really ripe bananas like I did, it gets wayyy too sweet.

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
I tried using all chocolate bars like a reviewer suggested but the "cake" ended up more like fudge. I will try again using the original recipe.

Easy Lasagna I

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2011
AWESOME. I improvised this a bit to give it a fuller, homemade flavor. I added a clove of garlic to the meat and after adding the sauce, simmered it covered for 45min-1hr to thicken. I also added 1tbsp parsley, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp oregano and 1/2 tsp paprika. No mushrooms, no cottage cheese, no parmesan cheese, 16 oz extra ricotta and only 1 egg. I also used a pre-shredded blend of 4 cheeses (asiago, parmesan, provolone, fontina) and added a 3/4 cup throughout the layers. Layered and baked as per recipe and it came out DELICIOUS!!! My fiance and I cannot get enough. Will make again but with more sauce and noodles (I only made 2 layers but 3 would be perfect)

Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
Amazing! The prep work is well worth it. And like all the other reviewers have said, CUT DOWN ON LIQUIDS. I reduced mine to 3 eggs and 2/3 cup half and half and it was still too much.

Strawberry Pie II

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2011
Delicious! I tried putting chocolate on the pie crust as one reviewer suggested but I highly advise AGAINST that idea. The chocolate flavor just overpowered the strawberries. Also, I would cut down the sugar to just 1/2 cup because if you have good berries, you don't need so much sugar. I advise to use just 1/4 of the berries for the syrup because mine became too thick to pour over the remaining fruit. Overall it is delicious and would make this again with market fresh strawberries!

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Secret Recipe

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
Easy and delicious! I used Yukon Gold instead of red because I like the buttery taste better. Also, I substituted Cheddar for Romano since I had it on hand. Everything was still delicious! I cut the cooking time to about 15-20 minutes though since 45 would have led to mush.
