Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2013
The texture of these are very good. The TASTE is not. These cookies are completely flavorless. Very bland...will never make these again.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2012
These are ok. Very flat and thin. If I added more flour like other suggested, it would only make a cakey cookie...not what I want. I won't be making it again.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2012
Very easy recipe! I used homemade chicken broth that was full of spices and very flavorful. I also only added 1 pkg of cream cheese. I found it very yummy for a cold day!! Thanks!

Sugar Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2012
These are soooo yummy!! I made some for Christmas as gifts, and everyone loved them. I have a batch in the oven right now, for my husband's birthday! Oh...I double the cinnamon, but other than that, they're perfect!

Hot Cocoa Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2011
As is, I don't like the recipe at all. After reading other reviews I added extra powdered sugar and chocolate creamer. However, the strongest flavor I tasted was the powdered milk. And I hate powdered milk. All homemade hot cocoa drinks I've ever had always have a stong powdered milk taste. So, I added an extra box of pudding, and about a cup more of the chocolate powdered drink mix. With the extra chocolate ingredients it's better...but I'll stick with my Nestles hot cocoa mix. I'm giving this away for Christmas. I know others won't have issues with the powdered milk like I do. All in all, dissapointing.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2011
These are fabulous! I followed the directions perfectly and they turned out wonderful! I like them best when I cook them using butter. That way I get a nice crisp buttery edges on them! I usually make whole wheat pancakes for my family and usually don't care for white flour pancakes since they seem tasteless to me. But not this reicpe! Thanks for sharing!!

Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
I've never tried a recipe that had no reviews written yet, but these looked good, so I thought I'd take a chance. So glad I did, because these are excellent!!! I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out very well. I love that these taste like muffins and not cake. I got 18 muffins, not 12. If I had filled the muffin cups fuller, I could have gotten the 12 as stated in the recipe. But it would have been nearly to the very top of the tin, and I didn't think you should fill them that much. Next time I make them (maybe tomorrow) I will see what happens when I put all the batter in 12 muffin cups. Usually I try to make a recipe healthier, but this one is great as is!! (And I do love sweets, so this isn't coming from someone who only eats "healthy" food). My 3 year old also loves them. Thanks Rebecca, for sharing your recipe! Oh, and as a side note I grind my own whole wheat flour and then put it in the freezer...so it is more fresh than what you can buy at the store. I don't know how much that has to do with how great these turned out. Oh, one more thing! I only had frozen blueberries, so I just added them right from the freezer. They were not fully frozen but that's because my freezer doesn't work very well. :) UPDATE: I made these again this morning and only made 12. The cups look more like 3/4 full, but they rose nicely and turned out well!

German Cut-Out Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2011
I thought these were very good. Loved the brown sugar in them! I followed the directions exactly. I did make the dough a day before baking them, so I put them in the fridge, then let them sit out on the counter before rolling out. I did find that I only had to cook them for maybe 6-7 min. I didn't want to risk getting them hard and over cooked. I may try a batch at 8 minutes to see how they turn out. Great recipe! Thanks for sharing !

Unbaked Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

I made these exactly as written...turned out well. Oh, I only use natural peanut butter, so that made these a little healthier. My 3 year old loved these!
