Creme Brulee French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2014
We liked this a lot and it was great that I could assemble it the night before. For those who said that they don't like the custardy consistency. Crème Brulee IS a custard, so that is what you should have expected. It is sweet and you kind of need to serve some kind of protein with it such as bacon or sausage. It's a great breakfast for the crowd who spends the night after a party or on Christmas or New Years morning.

Overnight Bubble Bread

Reviewed: May 1, 2014
I am making this for the second time this week. The recipe does neglect to tell you to invert the pan to reveal the pretty side after baking, but we should know that. The flavor was great.

Easy OREO Truffles

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2012
This recipe kind of hurt my feelings. I baked lots of beautiful and difficult treats for Xmas and these were what I got compliments on. So quick and easy and they do taste great. I chilled the balls and dipped them into melter coverature using a dipping tool that costs about 2 bucks at any cake decorating shop.

Cinco de Chili Chocolate Cupcakes with Chili Cream Cheese Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
Excellent recipe. I tasted the batter and loved it, I tasted the frosting which would have been delicious with no spices and decided to add more of each type of chili per personal taste. They are just delicious and I love how they look. Thank you for posting.

Meringue Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2011
for those of you having problems with too much gooey-ness on the inside. I think they should be left in the oven for 15 minutes after you turn the oven off. A bit of mint flavoring is also nice in this cookie.

Clark's Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
I am not a fan of eggs, but I do like them mixed with other things and this quiche was better than I had ever tasted in any restaurant. I also add some diced ham which I carmelize with the onions. Lots of flavor

Cafeteria Carrot Souffle

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
I halved the recipe and thought it was very good, but I am glad that I read the other reviews because half the sugar (or less) makes it much much better. I don't care for yams or sweet potatoes, but would serve this with anything those would go with.

Buttermilk Syrup

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
Made a half recipe, but in the end I thinned it a bit with a little more buttermilk. Stored the leftovers in the fridge. I think this would be great on ice cream or apple pie ala mode, but I served it with the German pancake recipe. If nobody is watches when you eat the leftover syrup the calories won't count- just a theory.

Quick Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
I used chicken tenderloins and it was so easy and very quick. I was not expecting this to taste exactly like the chicken marsala that you get in a great Italian restaurant, but it is a great home version and a real time saver. I did use just half the marsala and it was still very good.
