Old Settlers' Baked Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2011
These beans were fabulous!!! I did make a few changes as well as others. I omitted the white sugar and then added a Tablespoon of Molasses and a few drops of liquid smoke. Then put them in the slow cooker for 4 hours. I took them to a bbq where they were having bbq'd pork and everyone wanted the recipe. Thank you for sharing!!!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2008
I've made this recipes several times because its great for potlucks and large family get togethers. I did find the Ziti noodles to expand too much so I used Penne noodles instead. I also used italian sausage instead of ground beef because I like a little more spice. Thank you Colleen!

Stuffed Shells IV

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2006
My husband loved these! I did however revise it a little by adding 1/8 tsp nutmeg and 2 tsp oregano to the turkey mixture. I thought it could use some more flavor. I also found 1 jar of sauce to be not enough. I'll use 2 next time. Thanks for the recipe! A+

I did not care for this recipe. It was very bland. Maybe I'll use some other peoples advice and spice it up a bit.

Caramel Corn I

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2005
I gave out the caramel corn as christmas gifts and everyone could not stop eating it...plus they all wanted the recipe! This is how I made it: I used 1 1/2 recipes and used 2 bags of Newmans own Natural microwave popcorn. I also used 2 shallow baking pans and cooked it for just over an hour. FABULOUS! I've made it 3 times in the last 2 weeks. I think I'm addicted!

I have made this several times. I did add a tsp of cinnamon because i like cinnamon. And I topped it with cool Whip and toasted coconut. Ooh la la! I think I will add more pineapple or fresh pineapple next time because I couldn't taste it as much as the bananas. FANTASTIC!
