Black Beans and Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2012
This was an easy, really tasty meal. I was surprised at how all the flavors melded together, and best of all, it took all of 10 minutes to prepare. Delicious. I will try with chicken next time.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2012
Definitely double the blueberries! The topping was delicious. I made them with apple sauce instead of oil (diet... Boo...). I can't imagine how wonderful they'd be made with oil.

Korean BBQ Short Ribs (Gal-Bi)

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2012
The flavor of the sauce is unbelievable. I boiled the marinade for a few minutes and poured it over rice. Delicious! While I enjoyed the charbroiled medium rare beef on the grill, next time I think I will use the crockpot for more tenderness.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
This tastes like French toast but better. It is so plump and moist, I make it for Christmas Day breakfast.

Guinness® Corned Beef

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
This is the only way I make corned beef now. I throw quartered potatoes into the crock pot with the meat, and they come out so flavorful.

Cheddar Spirals

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
The easiest macaroni and cheese ever, and it tastes so good. I like to make this right before I serve it though, since I think the consistency changes once it is reheated.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
I've made this several times now and each time it's a huge hit. It's so moist and absolutely delicious. I cut the oil to 1/2 cup and it's still really good.

Strawberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
I've made both this and Chantal's cheesecake, and I prefer Chantal's over this recipe. However, the presentation is very pretty with all the strawberry swirls. As another review stated, I would make Chantal's cheesecake and use the strawberry sauce from this recipe next time.

Maple Baked Pork Loin Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
As other reviews stated, I will probably never go back to the way I used to cook pork roast. This turned out so tender and moist. I put half of the sauce in the pan I seared the roast in and cooked it down until it thickened. Delicious!

Moist Holiday Honeycake

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
I made this cake for my children. I skipped the whiskey and orange juice but otherwise followed the recipe. I glazed the cake with a mixture of honey, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla essence. Next time I will poke holes in the cake first to let the glaze soak in for maximum moisture.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2011
This cheesecake was amazing. Everyone ate it up. It did not crack and looked beautiful. I topped it with piped Cool Whip, which gave it a professional look. A must try!! I used an 8 in springform pan so I had extra batter and crumbs, which I put into greased muffin tins for miniature cheesecakes. I baked them for about 20 minutes.

Breakfast Pies

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2011
This is a versatile recipe. Kids like them and they're easy to make. Next time I might try using feta cheese to add more flavor.
