Soft Sugar Cookies IV

I wanted to make some Valentine's cookies, but was tired of the sugar cookie dough I had been using the last few years because it was very crumbly. I made this recipe to the direction, except for making them cut-outs, and those cookies turned out AMAZING!!! I could not stop eating them. I used a Cotton Candy Betty Crocker container of icing on them. It was absolute perfection....it got me wanting to make cookies for every blessed holiday. We can use Christmas trees for arbor day, right?

The Best Sweet and Sour Meatballs

These were delicious! To the meatballs I used bread instead of bread crumbs and also added some Ken's Honey Teriyaki Marinade and a clove of chopped garlic. To the sauce I added some of the Ken's marinade, allspice and ketchup as another reviewer suggested. I'll definitely make these again. I made them with the recipe- White and Wild Rice Pilaf. They were great together.

White and Wild Rice Pilaf

This rice turned out wonderful! I used 3/4 cup jasmine rice and 3/4 cup wild rice. I had no broth, so I made some using 3 1/2 cups water and 5 bullion cubes, since other reviewers mentioned using more.I didn't use carrots, because I had none, and I used only 1/2 stalk celery. I sprinkled in some cilantro and 2 dashes of Chinese 5 Spice. I'll definitely make it again!

Festival-Style Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwiches

Delicious! I used a vidalia onion instead of red and yellow. I also used only green pepper instead of red and green. If I'd had red I would've used it. Also, I used beer instead of wine!

Ranch Style Popcorn Seasoning

LOVE this! I omit the oil, as I pop on the stove and just add a little extra while popping. I added a few dashes each of chives and thyme like a previous reviewer suggested. It's so good that I'm about to make a 25 serving batch and put it in an empty herb container to sprinkle on. I figure it will be much more convenient this way since this is now a staple for me!
