Perfect Turkey
AWESOME!! Our turkey was super moist and the skin was perfectly browned and crisp. I will never try another recipe. I didn't care for the wine in the gravy, so I will just use chicken broth in the future. I made a 13 1/2 pound bird and still used the full two cups of salt and our turkey wasn't salty at all. We used a fresh, range free bird, not a Butterball. I brined our bird in a turkey bag inside of a stock pot...worked perfectly. Thank you for this great recipe!!

Brown Sugar Smokies
I've been making this for years and it's always a huge hit. I trim every piece of bacon in so that each smokie has about 90% meat and 10% fat. Yes, time consuming, but worth the effort. I dredge each piece of bacon in the brown sugar prior to wrapping them. I put them on a foil liked cookie sheet, cover and put in the fridge over night. I add additional brown sugar on top of the smokies prior to baking. Watch them closely towards the end because you want them as done as possible, but not burned. I do put a toothpick in each one because I put them all in a crockpot and they are easy to get out with the toothpick. Delish!!!

Tender Italian Baked Chicken
This is a good recipe, and the chicken was quite moist. But I didn't like that the bottom of the chicken was soggy. Next time I will cook the chicken on a wire rack and flip it half way or so.
