Marinated Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2006
I had been looking for this recipe for quite some time and was pleased to find it. I used white balsamic vinegar instead of white wine vinegar and it was amazing! I didn't change anything else and it turned out fabulous. Thanks!

Bacon and Tomato Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2006
This was a huge hit! I used bisquick instead of the refrigerated biscuit dough and rolled it out to desired thickness. I made this for a baby shower and everyone loved them. Thanks!

This recipe was great! I used 1/2 spelt flour and 1/2 all-purpose flour, fresh chopped garlic, and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Turned out soft and chewy. Thanks!

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
I have made this recipe again and again and it's good every time. I leave the tomato sauce and sugar out and add a little more curry powder. It's very good and my husband loves it!

Strawberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2012
This turned out fabulous for me! I actually used raspberry puree instead of strawberry and it looked just like the picture and was smooth and creamy.

So simple and so tasty! I add a clove of garlic, ground black pepper and I reduce the honey to 1/2 cup. We love this recipe!

After eating something like this in a restaurant, I came up with this recipe and it tasted even better! I make this probably once a week and my husband loves it.

Bacon Quiche Tarts

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
I brought these two a ladies' group and they were a huge hit! I used a pastry tart instead of the biscuit dough but the filling I kept the same. Very tasty and easy.

These are such a hit wherever I bring them to. Used sugar free peanut butter and still I found them sweet enough. Very yummy!

Blue Cheese, Bacon and Chive Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
I mixed in some feta cheese with the blue cheese to tone it down a bit. Good but not great. Probably won't make it again.

Naan

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2006
Not exactly like the bread in an Indian restaurant but I don't have a tandoori oven either! Very good for homemade and very tasty. I used all-purpose flour instead of bread flour and cream instead of milk. Yummy!

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2006
I was disappointed by the lack of flavor of this recipe. The chicken was moist but it didn't get any of that yummy rub mixture. I even doubled the amount of spice and it still didn't taste like much.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
If this recipe had a 6-star rating I would give it that! Amazing! I used panko crumbs instead of regular bread crumbs and they were as good or better then any I've ever had in a restaurant. AMAZING!!!!!

Chicken Valdostano

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I just made the sauce that came with this and I thought it was pretty weak. Not a ton of flavour and the color of it was unappealing. Probably wouldn't make this again.

Thai Chicken with Basil Stir Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly except that I used button mushrooms instead of shitake as they weren't available. It was really good but not great. To me, it needed a little some "extra". But I would definitely make it again.

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2009
This soup was not good. I cut the cream cheese in half as others recommended and roasted my squash. I don't know if it was because I had a really large squash or what but it turned out so thick you could eat it as a dip. And I found it still too rich with the amount of cream cheese.
