I absolutely love to cook and especially trying the most complicated dishes possible. I am always searching for the best recipe, and I think I have quite an exclusive collection of fantastic recipes.

My favorite family cooking traditions
A few years ago, we made a family cookbook with all of the recipes my ancestors brought back from Italy. I also love having a big fun Sunday dinner with my husband.
My cooking triumphs
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday because my mom would make the most delicious elaborate meal. The year after she passed away, Thankgiving was really depressing. I decided to change that, so now even though I go to my cousin's house for the actual holiday, I host my own Pre-Thanksgiving the Saturday before Thanksgiving where I prepare all of my mother's amazing recipes from scratch. Although it's very stressful to prepare everything myself, it always turns out just like mom's. Each year I invite a different group of important people in my life to celebrate.

Fantastic!!! Except I highly recommend scaling down the recipe to 1/3 the original size. That deduction made more than enough for 4 hearty eaters!

Marinated Grilled Shrimp
Delicious! I doubled the pepper and added a teaspoon of spanish hot paprika for a little kick.

Cream Cheese Frosting I
I made the following adjustments in response to other reviewers: 8 oz cream cheese 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla 1/2 C butter 3 C powdered sugar NO cream I whipped this all together with an electric mixer and it was great. Not too sweet, not to cream cheese intense. You'll want to lick this bowl!
