About this Cook
I love to cook, and grow my own ingredients.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook almost anything... If a recipe gets in my head it will bother me for days unless I make it. whatever it may be. I search recipes, all for the same thing I want to make, then combine them all with my own ideas, and ingredients.
My favorite family cooking traditions
chocolate cherry mice, for Christmas, and Halloween. When my children and I get together, and cook, we all add what we want, and usually eat something very, very, good.
My cooking triumphs
I make a REAL good lasagna. It's a bit naughty (fattening) but ooooooh, sooooooo delicious. One piece will fill you up, especially served with my garlic toast.
My cooking tragedies
When I was a new mother, I attemped to make homemade bread. I mixed, and stirred, and discovered I didn't have enough flour. Frustrated, and broke, I threw the mixture away. A few hours later, my trash can was overflowing with dough. I was young, and didn't realize that was goin to keep growing.

Potato Chips
I followed the instructions exactly, and I now have a dinner plate with a brand new finish. Rough, because each and every potato chip stuck. I cant even scrape them off with a butter knife. I hope soaking will work!!!
