Ranch Dipping Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2006
Very nice! First time, I used strained yogurt (usually found in stores as Greek-yogurt) and after 1 hour in the fridge it was ready for dippings! Second time, I used another brand of ranch which was way more salty, and the final product was not as expected, so a recommendation is to taste and adjust according to your needs and to the brand you use.

Swedish Apple Pie

A bit too sweet, but a nice pie overall. I will try again with experimenting on sugar amount.

Cinnamon Rolls II

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
Best dough for cinnamon rolls ever! Mine needed about 1 more cup of flour. The secrets are: 1) bake just until golden brown on top and still whitish on bottom, and 2) use the right pan. I used a pyrex and a glass pie dish with a thick bottom. The ones in the pie dish came out so much softer and fluffier! Delicious! Otherwise I followed the recipe, except I did not make the frosting. Thank you for this recipe!

Did this for Thanksgiving this year (without the stuffing) and it turned out wonderfully! I will be doing it with the stuffing next time! Thanks for the recipe!

Raisin Spice Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
This was absolutely delicious! The boiling the raisins step did make a big difference in taste for the better. I substituted butter for shortening as I didn't have any on hand. The texture of the crust was very presentable! Thank you for this recipe!

Almond Cherry Biscotti

Very good! I formed 1 big rectangle instead of two. While baking it flattened a lot. But the final result is delicious.

Hungarian Mushroom Soup

Didn't have sour cream, nor parsley. I added a small dash of dried mint instead. It was very delicious!

Hearty Baked Rigatoni

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
Very tasty! Can be done without ricotta cheese, but it's going to be less moist. I've done it before, adding about 1/4-1/2 cup milk in the place of ricotta.

Substituted turmeric for yellow mustard every time I made this. It's so delicious you won't believe your taste buds! I love to make this in cold winter nights, it's such a comfort food! Thanks for this wonderful recipe!
