Broccoli Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2007
After a few modifications to this recipe it was excellent. I am giving it a four only because I changed some things. I left out the water chestnuts and the almonds. I used shredded cheddar cheese and cream of chicken soup. Great alternative if you hate mushrooms. In place of the almonds on top I took 18 round crackers, crumbled them and add them too hot melted butter in a fry pan to soften them up. Add those to the top of your casserole and it adds a nice buttery flavor and they crisp back up in the oven. (Great way to get rid of that half stale package of crackers thats sitting in your pantry!)This recipe defaults at 8 servings. I only made a 4 serving dish so be sure to double the crackers if you try this method.

Mom's Easy Roast

Reviewed: May 16, 2006
At the 6 hour point I did a taste test and noticed that it was a little bland. Since my carrots needed a little more time I added a second packet of onion soup mix and another 1/2 cup water which made this a 5 star recipie!!!

Delicious Salmon

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2011
This recipe was easy to scale down since I am the only one in the house that likes fish. This was a great way to cook up a single salmon fillet while the hubby and kids had cheeseburgers. I pan fried for three minutes each side and it turned out great. When I scaled the recipe down to one serving it called for 1 tbsp brown sugar. This was a bit much for me so I think next time I will cut down to 1/2 tbsp and it will be a five star recipe!

Campbell's Kitchen Broccoli and Cheese Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2007
This was horrible. I made it yesterday for Thanksgiving and doubled the recipe. There was way to much cheese and the broccoli was tough.

Never Fail Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2011
BEST BISCUITS EVER! Followed recipe exactly and these were amazing. They complimented my roast and mashed potatoes nicely and the kids are already asking for them for breakfast tomorrow! Two things to note...do the fold over method that another reviewer mentioned to get that perfect break in your biscuit and brush with melted butter straight out of the oven!

Wings In Cola

Did not care for this. Just tasted like baked chicken covered in brown sugar. Kids would not eat these either and opted to eat the buffalo wings I made for my husband.

Cake Balls

These were odd tasting. While others liked them, I was not pleased. I spent all day making these and really feel it was a waste of time when I could have made something that tasted better.

Made these for company today and everyone loved them. Well everyone except the kids. They thought they were a little spicy. Loved how crispy they got in the oven! Followed recipe to exactly.

Amazing! Easy and yummy!! This worked beautifully on a chicken pot pie. Only change I made was to add a little garlic and onion powder. A keeper!

American Frittata

I also felt this was a good base recipe. I did use hashbrowns for convenience which made this recipe much quicker. The potato to egg ratio was a little heavy so I will cut back slightly next time. This does need a bit more flavor. Next time I think I will also add bacon, garlic, & cream cheese. Even though I though it needed a bit more flavor, my 6 & 9 yr old really liked this dish!

Delicious Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2010
This was very good. I did make a few modications. I used boneless skinless chicken breast and boiled them. I did not have any canned chicken broth or celery. Boneless breast dont make a good broth so I added celery salt, reg salt, pepper, and chicken bouillon. I used one can of cream of chicken and one cream of celery. Also added a handful of shredded cheddar cheese to mixture and then a layer under the cracker crumbs. Cracker crumbs make this recipe! Next time i will add extra!

A Plus Fair Corn Dogs

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2007
This was a really disappointment. All of the batter came off in the oil. I tried some of the tips like making sure the dogs were dry first but it didn't help. My six yr old was really disappointed to get a plain hot dog rather than a corn dog. will not try this one again. I am giving it a one only because I cant choose zero!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2010
First time making homemade cinnamon rolls. The family loves them! They were good to me but not the best. When I first started working with the dough it was very sticky and I had to add quite a bit more flour to even work with the dough. I think the additional flour took away from the overall flavor as the dough was not as sweet as I would have liked. I didn't cool the milk/butter mixture and I am thinking that might have a lot to do with the stickiness. Overall it was a great recipe. Uses everyday ingredients and I had everything on hand. Topped with a powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and butter icing. All in all I will make again and try cooling the milk/butter longer. I also used a 9x13 pan. Even though the flavor lacked a little for me, they sure were pretty!

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2010
WAY to sweet. Tasted mostly like ketchup and I had to really work with a few different spices and added onions to get a better flavor. Husband and daughter didn't like this however my son ate 3. Will probably find another recipe we can all enjoy next time.
