Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2013
Great quick and easy dough recipe whip it out in a few minutes and can use it after letting it rise or even a day later when kept in the fridge. Actually the flavors develop more when you use it a day later so I always double the recipe

perfect every time i increase the eggs to 4 and add some crushed cardamom to give it a more eastern flair, which we call creme caramel. delicious. the water bath helps and make sure not to overcook it!

Black Bean Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
very moist and perfect chocolatey taste. i did double the vanilla and added about 1/4 cup more sugar because i used special dark cocoa powder instead of regular. just the texture is a little light and airy for brownies, so as long as you don't present them as brownies, then you won't be disappointed.

Spinach Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2010
i just made these a second time but played with it more and it was fantastic!! first of all, i used a 1/4 cup olive oil instead of half cup butter. i sauteed the onions with 4/5 cloves of garlic and mushrooms and then added the spinach. i added chopped fresh basil, some italian seasoning and crushed red pepper. also i used a mix of mozarella and cheddar cheese. these are so addictive and tasty!

Avocado Quick Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2010
Very tasty moist bread, nicely spiced as well. I did cut the sugar back by using a touch over half a cup of sugar (but I halved the recipe too since its just me and my husband). That would make it a little over a cup of sugar for the full recipe. The sweetnees was fine, in fact if I had used what it called for, it would have been TOO sweet. Thanks for a great idea to use your avocados!

Chewy Cocoa Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
definitely very fudgy brownies from the center and a little cakey on the sides. but VERY tasty and satisfying. I didn't have enough regular cocoa so ended up finishing with dark chocolate cocoa that I had. I also put around a cup of sugar, maybe a tad less, because I can never eat the boxed mixes that are SO sweet. The end result was perfect sweetness and excellent chocolatiness which may be because I put a few tablespoons of prepared coffee to accentuate the chocolatiness. Am giving four stars cuz I didn't get that crusty shell on top that I love about brownies. Not sure why not, but all in all good recipe! (But 1 2/3 cup sugar would be WAY too sweet for us)
