Sandy's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
OMG!! This cake was soooo goooood it made my head spin! I followed directions almost exactly. I didn't have enough of regular chocolate coco powder I substitued about a 1/4 with dark chocolate powder. Also I didn't use the frosting with this recipe. I made a fudge frosting instead. The batter was very running but baked nicely. If you are ever in the need for comfort food.... this is it!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2009
As always this recipe never lets me down. I doubled the recipe and made 6 loaves. I live at 5800 elevation, so I added and extra 3/4 cup of flour and had to bake 10 min longer than stated in recipe. Everyone raves about this bread! It is so MOIST! This will always be the only pumpkin bread recipe I will ever use!

Jerk Seasoning

Reviewed: May 5, 2007
This was very good. I only put half of the cayanne in to make it kid friendly. The whole family loved it. This is much healthier (no msg and other ingredients that we can't pronounce) than the store bought versions.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2007
These are better than anything I have ever tasted!! They melt in your mouth. Be careful because I couldn't stop eatting them. I like to make them ahead of time without baking and then I freeze them in a pan and take it out to rise the night before and pop them in the oven first thing in the morning. This is a great way to get those kids out of bed.

Deep Dish Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2006
I am through with mixes thanks to this recipe! I followed this recipe using others suggestions and I only used 2 eggs and omited the baking powder. These were so fudgy and chewy. I made these last night and thought they were a bit too buttery. I tried one this morning after they cooled off nd the flavor went through and they are to die for! As good as the ones you buy at the expensive bakerys. I am going to make up several batches to freeze so that I will always have some on hand for get-togethers or simply if I just want to indulge. Thanks for a great recipe

Banana Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
I love this recipie! It has been a family favorite for years now. I make mine into muffins. The kids eat them up and ask for more. They are loaded with vitamins with the pumpkin and the banana. I will continue to make these moist muffins through the years to come! Sometimes when I don't have any honey, I use maple syrup or brown sugar and they still come out moist and delicious!

Shredded Beef Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 22, 2006
OH! MY GOSH!!!! These are fabulous! The closest I've ever become to making mexican was making tacos and fajitas using a seasoning mix. I cooked my beef in a crockpot. This recipe is very easy but time consuming. The next time I make these I will do it on a Sunday and make a whole lot of them to frezze for later. Thanks for such a great recipe.

I've never made nor saw chicken and dumpling before. my husband is from the south and grew up on these, which happens to be his favorite meal. I was so worried about making these being that I have never had them before and or seen them. I followed the recipie to the T and my husband loved them! they were just like his ( now deceased ) Mom used to make. Thank you do much for this recipe!

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2006
This bread is incredible!! So moist and fresh even 4 days later. Very easy to slice. I substituted with olive oil, sea salt, and I used raw sugar. It still came out great! I have made at least 20 loaves of this bread and it comes out great every time!
