About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Potato-Leek Soup, french onion soup, lasagna, spaghetti, tacos, meatloaf, new stuff!, stir fry, sweedish meatballs, chicken dishes, asian stuff, mexican stuff, soups, stews, just about anything!!! I prefere stove-top cooking so I can taste it as I go.
My cooking tragedies
I once added 1 cup salt to Peach Cobbler instead of sugar. I tried to add a whole bunch of sugar to compenstate, but it was just too salty. Tried baking it anyway as I had company over, but yeuck! We remember it as "Salt Cobbler" now.

Old-Fashioned Swiss Steak
This was a wonderful recipe! Made it tonight and we all loved it. Please notice, the measurements are for 2 servings. I've seen people say that this was bland. It's not. You just need to double or triple the sauce ingredients when making it for a family. I went a little heavy on the Worcestershire sauce as that has so much flavor! Served it with rice and green beans. I will be making this again!

Buffalo Chicken Dip
Made this today. I used bleu cheese dressing instead of ranch and the Franks Red Hot sauce. I just made a half batch because nobody else in my household likes this sort of thing (cream cheese, bleu cheese, spicy). I loved it! I did the layer and bake method. I'm going to make it for my next church small group meeting. I'm sure they'll love it. I ate mine with celery. YUM!
