Lemon Poppyseed Scones

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2007
Mmmm. These were delicious! I put in a tad bit more lemon zest, and added about a third teaspoon of butter flavoring. From now on I'll add about 1/2 T more lemon zest.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread II

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
Very good: moist and chocolatey. Next time I will add fewer chocolate chips and more nuts though.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
Wasn't a fan. I spiced it up like some other reviews said, but it was too sweet and had too much of a banana flavor.

Banana Maple Nut Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2007
This recipe was good, and had great texture. I was shocked that even without any soda or powder, it rose! It's definitely not your typical banana bread though: it's not very sweet at all, and has an almost yeast bread consistency.

Indian Rice (Pulao)

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2007
The rice was good, but a little bland. Unfortunately, I didn't have any cardamon pods, so that didn't help at all. I halved the recipe, but next time I'll just halve the rice and water and keep the extra spices.

Bunjal Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2007
I used cubed boneless chicken breast, because that was what I had on had. It was ok, but rather bland. Next time, I'll double or triple the spices and sauce part, and let it sit for longer. My little brother liked it a lot though.

Naan

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2007
I made this today for my family, and they loved it! I don't have a grill, so I just used a skillet over the stove, and it turned out fine. Next time, though, I'm going to add a lot more garlic.
