San Francisco Sourdough Bread

I love this recipe. I have been using my sourdough starter (amish friendship bread starter) for the past three years. It just gets better every time I make bread. I think the onions on top are very tasty addition.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Oh so good!!! My husband made it tonight and it was great. Super moist and tender. The only thing to change nixt time is putting glaze on top of loaf. Yum, Yum!!

Easy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Pumpkin-Apple Muffins with Streusel Topping

This is a very hardy muffin recipe. I changed a few things and left out the oil. Cut the sugar to 1 cup, used 1/2 cup pumpkin and 1/4 cup apple butter in place of oil, for the pumpkin pie spice I used cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, and changed the flour to whole wheat.

Baked Tofu Bites

This is a wonderfull recipe to use tofu in. I did make a few changes as I did not have sesame seeds so I used sesame seed oil. I also left out the liquid smoke. This is a keeper.

Oma's Rhubarb Cake

Baked Basil Fries

Chili I

I love this recipe. Have made it many times and it freezes well. Have also used textured vegatable protein in place of ground meat. Love it with dark beer.

Pizza Dough I

Have made this twice for dinner. I made the mistake of over working the dough the first time. I had a hard time streching the dough to fit the cookie sheet. The key with this dough is not to over work the dough. I like to add the yeast to the warm water first and let the yeast soften for a few minutes. Add everything together, stir, and knead the dough a few times. I like to pat the dough on the cookie sheet until it is size I need. I also like to add dried basil and garlic powder to the dough.

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

This was very easy and turned out great. I did however add garlic powder, thyme, salt and pepper to the sauce. I also seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper .

Molasses-Glazed Pork Tenderloin

Butterscotch Pudding I

So good and easy to make. Used a wisk while making the pudding. Will try light brown sugar next time, dark was a bit strong.

Gigantes (Greek Lima Beans)

I thought this was very good. I added end pieces of bacon( husband is a meat hound). Had this as the main meal.It cooked up nice in the crock pot. Will make again.
