I couldn't find extra lean beef at my local store, so I ended up using Jennie-O lean turkey. I added minced garlic, and next time will add more seasonings to the mix because it needed a touch more, but still good!
***Update: Do not listen to the review about freezing the head of cabbage! The first time I made this, I just quickly cooked the leaves in a small amount of boiling water, and it worked just fine, but this time I decided to try the freezing thing. It's a bust. Do you know how long it takes a head of cabbage to thaw? The first couple leaves were fine, but the rest wouldn't peel off without breaking, so I had to steam the whole head anyway, and STILL left leaves toward the middle that were still partially frozen, and wouldn't peel off properly. I ended up having to toss some of the mixture out because I couldn't get enough useful leaves out of the head of cabbage. Just steam them from the beginning. Freezing is definitely not worth it.
