Lemon-Butter Snow Peas

Delicious and it was nice to have snow peas without an Asian flavor. My only mistake is that I used more snow peas and didn't double the recipe enough. Fixed that quickly. Thank you.

White Bean Chicken Chili

This was very good. I did not change any ingredients but I did want it thicker. I pureed about a cup of the beans with some broth, and poured it back it. Made it on our first snowday of the year, the house smelled great...nice winter meal.

Chicken and Peppers with Balsamic Vinegar

Sorry but this recipe was very bland. I did not get a kick from the balsamic vinegar. Chicken & peppers always are a good combination. I discarded the liquid and used the left-overs in tortillas for lunch..not bad.

Irish Soda Bread

This recipe is great and has been well received by my family for many years. I do cut the raisins to 1.5-2 cups. Why I am writing now is I have an old recipe with very similar ingredients but has you soak the raisins in 2 tbsp of Irish whiskey. I have done it for years and it plumps the raisins and adds a nice flavor, yet mild. Just a thought!

Love it! Delicious!!! Doubled the recipe and still all was well. Good idea about keeping lemon grass in large pieces. Was a bit warm...husband thought perfect, one child too hot. May have to adjust red pepper slightly.
