Chocolate Mousse I

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2013
Wonderful! Followed the instructions exactly and it turned out perfect! After melting the chocolate I let it cool slightly and poured it into another bowl that had the egg yolks pre-mixed. I think this might have helped with what others said about small chunks when it cooked the egg yolks. With just two ingredients, this recipe is simple and easy, but looks and tastes like you slaved for ours. Will definitely keep this recipe on hand!

Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I've tried quite a few ice cream recipes and this was hands down the best one I've made for flavor and consistency. Followed the instructions exactly (maybe added in a little more peppermint extract) and used Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks. Everyone loved it!

Chocolate Mint Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
I was looking for a plain chocolate cookie recipe to make for ice cream sandwiches and found this one. They were AMAZING and so easy! I didn't use the mint candy at the end. Instead, just let them cool and made them into sandwiches with homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream. So good - will definitely be making again!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
I've made a few cheesecakes in the past and none compare to this one! So easy to make and it turned out great. A couple of recommendations to definitely follow are to mix the eggs in last by hand and not to over mix! Then, I did bake mine in the water bath for 1 hour and turned the oven off. I left it in for 6 hours afterwards (my oven always takes forever) and it only had one crack (I think it was because I overmixed). I then let it chill in the fridge and covered the entire cheesecake in melted dark chocolate. It was amazing!

No Bake Cookies V

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
I made these cookies last weekend. First time to ever make No Bake Cookies and they turned out perfect!! I followed the suggestions to wait till it came to a full rolling boil, then waited the one minute, before removing from heat and adding in the rest of the ingredients. Plus, I didn't have chunky peanut butter, so I used regular and they turned out great! Will make these again. Thank you!

White Peach Sangria

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I have made this recipe many times and it has never disappointed. Always the most talked about item after the party!!!! Incredible! I've never put the grapes in (as I don't like grapes) I've always put in a little extra of the peach vodka and I buy a bag of frozen peaches and it turns out perfect every time.

Bolognese Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
This was my first attempt to make a homemade sauce and it turned out well. The flavor was incredible! All of my friends raved about it but the consistency was a bit runny for me. I think my problem was I used a can of diced tomatoes (without draining) and I would probably try pureed next time for more of a sauce and not soup texture. Overall, great recipe!

Cream of Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
I made this for a dinner party and everyone was a little skeptical....but they ended up loving it! I added the cayanne pepper to the soup and didn't make the croutons. It was delicious! I am making this again for sure!

Basic Quiche by Shelly

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
I have made this recipe twice now and have had RAVE reviews both times. I added one more egg and used a mixture of Mozz/Provolone cheese. The flavor is incredible by itself or some I added crumbled bacon, cilantro and chopped tomato. Delicious! I used mini tart pans and made individual quiches. Great for a brunch or party! This recipe is a keeper!

Great delicate pumpkin flavor and consistancy. I added a 1/2 cup more pumpkin and 1 teaspoon ginger and left everything elese the same. Great recipe! Will make again!
