Peanut Quinoa

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2014
We liked it very much. Next time I will get sesame oil. I used 1 T of Olive and 1 T of roasted sesame seeds. I wanted to keep the czarbs down so instead of Noodles I used Quinoa and mixed it with the sauce. Used Splenda instead of sugar.

Lemon-Pepper Salmon II

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
I have made salmon on the grill using olive oil and lemon pepper for years and it is always a hit. This was better. I used Smart Balance margerine instead of butter, but otherwise followed the receipe. I did get smoke from the oven, but it came out great. I am going to try the same receipe on my Foreman grill and this summer on the Charcoal. Thanks for a terrific and simple idea.

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
This was quick, easy and delicious. Just made filets for the two of us. I added a bigt of the liquid to the dry ingredientgs and formed a paste so it stayed on top of the salmon better. Wonderful receipe.

We make it often and love it. One day we did not have breadcrumbs so I used Almond Meal from Trader Joes. Was good that way too.

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2009
I did not expect to like it that much but did not know what else to have. I left out the Jalapino and cilantro because of my wife's preference but we both loved them. One receipe (15 oz can) filled the two tortillos so we used a knife and fork. Marge added sour cream to her's, I ate mine as is. We both loved them. Thanks for something new and delicious for us.

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
This was fantastic, even though I made a couple of mistakes. I forgot the Parm and Parsley. Used Honey Panko Japanese Bread crumbs I had left from another meal. Followed advice to double garlic, butter (smart balance margarine)and lemon juice. We loved it, but next time I will try to do it correctly.

Ray's Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2013
Wonderful flavor. I overcooked the chicken a bit so it was not as juicy as it should have been. My wife made great chicken salad the next day with grapes and walnuts and mayo which was 5 plus. We will d it again and be more careful. I often have a problem with chicken breasts on the grill because we are so afraid of undercooking chicken.

I usually follow receipes exactly, but I did not have the right ingredients. I had frozen chicken breasts, which I did not thaw, Safeway Onion soup and Dip Mix, Balsamic Vinigar. I just followed the procedure and marinated the food all day and it was terrific.

Beef Peach Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2011
We made this several times and it was as a big hit each time. The first time I used fresh Red Haven peaches, and when they are in season, that is the way to go. The peaches were a bit hard and that was great. In the winter we use canned peaches and that is almost as good. 5 stars either way.

Chicken Marsala

This was wonderfull. We used a lot more mushrooms, marsala and dry sherry, (we never use cooking wine) then thickened the sauce a bit. I used more chicken too, but there were no leftovers :-( Thanks for a terrific and easy meal. Foolproof.
