Coconut Custard Pie III

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2014
Excellent. I sprinkled a little nutmeg on top prior to baking. I had to bake another 10 minutes, after 30 minutes I put the temp down to 375 and it came out perfect.

This is an awesome bread...I made it last weekend and my husband loved it. I did follow a few of the suggestions and added brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg....I will be making it again and again!

Old-Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2012
Excellent....i never was able to make a pancake that would cook nicely inside and not get too dark on the outside. Just right. I did cut down the baking powder to 3 tsp. and the salt to 1/2 tsp. Perfect.

Bob's Pineapple Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2012
I made this pie to bring to a picnic and it made a big hit. My husband raved over it. The only thing i would change is cutting the sugar down a bit - maybe to 1 cup.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2012
This bread is fantastic....A friend gave me a large quantity of yellow squash so i used that instead of the zucchini. As a matter of fact i am in the process of making this recipe again. As others have stated, i used 3-4 cups of the squash. I also used 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1/12 c. white sugar. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

Snickerdoodles V

Loved them. I made them for Christmas gifts along with other varieties. My husband is the dessert tester and he liked these cookies the best. The nice thing about these cookies is that they aren't super sweet. Just right.

Fudgy Chocolate Cream Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
Excellent. Made this pie for Christmas and everone loved it. I doubled the ingredients for a 10" pie plate and I also followed nrgizrbune42's suggestion to add a little more cornstarch and milk. I highly recommend using a pan with a thick bottom when cooking the mixture. Came out perfect.
