We loved this. My husband said he felt like he was eating at an old school diner. We love diners. :) I will make this again for sure. I served it with mashed potatoes and Greenbeans. Thanks for sharing!

Green Beans with Cherry Tomatoes

Nice recipe. I made it as written except for the sugar (Diabetic daughter) so we used Splenda at a half of a Tablespoon. I added some Tarragon since I had some. This was loved by the whole family- kids especially. Thanks for sharing.

Chicken, Asparagus, and Mushroom Skillet

Reviewed: May 9, 2012
Maybe those who gave this a not so shining review- don't like to eat healthy. Honestly as written- it's 4.5, it could use a little more zip- fine. That isn't hard to do. I have made this as written and a little doctored. The best part is you can tailor this to your pantry. I have a Diabetic child and a husband who loves low to no carb and this dish fit the bill. We love it around here. My children both love veggies and this is so easy. I generally make it with Asparagus, Colored Bell Peppers, Vidalia's, sometimes mushrooms. I leave the wine out and use Chicken Broth. I can't drink white wine. :( But we don't miss it. This is such a beautiful presentation and so easy to do. We love crisp veggie's so I saute them only a bit. It's such a vibrant and colorful dish- the flavors are amazing. It's delicate- even more delicate if you use fresh herbs. It's also so good for you. I serve it with Jasmine or Brown Rice- you could do garlic pasta. I don't usually double my sauce though- I don't think it's supposed to be saucy though the sauce is great and flavorful. Fresh lemon juice makes it. I will make this again and again- it's a great dish. Thanks for sharing.

The Best Parmesan Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2012
We really enjoyed this. I made it as is and it was good- my marinara was homemade though. It did brown a little too much because I had to cook for longer- about 50 minutes as well. Chicken was moist and juicy- it was really tasty. Next time, I will put the croutons and some cheese over them during the last 5-7 minutes of baking. I will also cover the pan with foil while cooking until the last 5 minutes. I served this with pasta tossed with Olive Oil and garlic. Thanks for sharing!

Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
This is great served over brown rice, jasmine rice, (the best) or whole wheat pasta which our family eats. We all enjoy this recipe. I have made it more than once. It doesn't taste at all like chicken gravy...not sure what that was about. This is a healthier alternative to Butter or Oil sauces. It is easily customizable as well. I have used a splash of white wine. You can add extra spices or dried herbs- dill or basil are phenomenal. You can use your imagination with this recipe. I also love a squeeze of extra lemon over the pasta when it's done. Thanks for sharing- it's a staple in our home since we have a couple of very serious health issues and this recipe fits in our diet.

Bread Machine Thin Crust Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2012
Awesome crust. I did a couple of things differently. I pre baked my crust on a stone for about 7 minutes. Then I pulled it out and topped it and threw it back in for about 8 minutes. I baked at 425. I also put some garlic powder on the olive oil before I pre baked. This came out amazing. We live in Chicago so we know pizza and we loved this. Oh and I also used 1 cup of whole wheat and 1 cup of bread flour- I did prick the crust but it still bubbled a bit. Thanks so much for this recipe- cheaper and healthier than the pizza joint.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2012
Awesome...I have made this many times. as written- great but you need to add the other half teaspoon of salt- it makes a difference. I have never proofed yeast in a bread machine but I will do it from now on. This is my go to recipe for sure- I do 3 TBS of sugar (we like a little sweet- it sounds like a ton but it isn't) , I also use 2 cups bread flour and 1 cup whole wheat. I also use the dough cycle- pull it out and then let it rise for another 30-60 minutes in a greased Pampered Chef stone loaf pan. I then bake it about 25 minutes on 350 in the oven. Great sandwich bread! Amazing! For those who gave bad reviews, not sure why...this is awesome. Thanks so much for sharing this easily customizable awesome recipe!

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2012
'm trying to understand the reviews on this one. Not to be rude but these flavors just didn't blend well together for our family. It was easy but the soy was too overpowering. The Asparagus was cooked nicely so 1 star for that.

THANKS JAYDE FOR SHARING!! This is fabulous- everyone I have served it to- loves it. The bashing on this is messed up. Velveeta ups the creamy factor and the onion and swiss give it an extra special something. Salt and Pepper to taste and it's fab. This is my go to recipe. Thank you again!

This is an easy staple and not really boring. Boring is a buttered baked potato. Anyway- we add some garlic and Vidalia's or Red Pepper. Awesome dish and easily altered to taste.

We really enjoyed this even my picky kids at it. We made it for a fried cod and fried shrimp night. This would be great on potatoes too. I made it as is- loved the flavor. It was better the next day when the flavors had a chance to meld. Thanks for sharing!

Brussels Sprouts in Mustard Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2011
My family (even the kids )love brussels. I make this quite frequently- sometimes with fresh and sometimes frozen. If your Brussels are still bitter after boiling in chicken broth- you aren't boiling long enough. This recipe as written is great- different and delicious. Being Italian, I need garlic in everything so I add garlic every time bacon sometimes, fresh herbs, etc..You can customize to your liking. I have made these with Dijon and Honey Mustard- it's great every time. We really enjoy this as written and modified. Thank you for sharing!

Favorite Old Fashioned Gingerbread

Perfect dense gingerbread- just cook it only 35-40 minutes. I have made this many times and it has never come out dry and I don't add applesauce. I do add extra spices though because we prefer it that way. I have made this many times and love it! Thanks!
