Japanese Tofu Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
I just made this for a potluck and everyone was asking for the recipe. I did brown the tofu in a little oil to firm it up. I also minced jalapeno and added it. Next time I may try some other veggies since, as other reviewers said, there's extra sauce.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
This is the best oatmeal cookie recipe. I usually add a cup of raisins, but with or without they are so good. I like to use a good cinnamon since it really is the standout favor.

Crunch Bar

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
I've made this recipe for lots of events and everyone loves it. I've even accidentally burnt the sugar slightly when cooking and it's still delicious. One more idea...I take the smaller broken pieces and crush them as an ice cream topping. Yum!

African Peanut Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
I crave this soup. Since it's so hearty it makes for a great meal or lunch, especially in the winter. I tend to add the peanut butter to taste, which is a little more than what the recipe calls for. A dollop of sour cream on top is delicious.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

This recipe makes the moistest, tastiest blueberry muffins/bread. I like to make extra and freeze them, too.

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2006
This is a great, easy recipe. I usually double the shrimp and omit scallops, since that's what we usually have in the freezer. Whole-wheat pasta tastes great with this dish, too.
