Lemon Barbeque Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
This had a very strange flavor to it. I thought it was OK but my kids and husband did not like it at all. I followed the recipe exactly. Sorry this didn't work for us.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
We found this to be just OK. I followed the recipe exactly and it was too moist. If I make it again I'll use a little less milk. The taste was good - it was more the texture I didn't like.

Maple-Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
I loved this recipe. The chops cooked great (though mine were over an inch thick and took closer to 35 minutes) and the glaze was super. I actually just added the brown sugar to the sauce instead of broiling on top and it was very tasty. My 7 year old ate more meat than I did!

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
I loved this recipe. Followed it exactly except I did put 1/2 the chips on the top and deleted the olives because I am the only one that likes them. My 7 year old and husband thought it was really tasty, my 4 year old only ate a couple bites (but she's really picky). I loved it and it was really simple to make.

Double Chocolate Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
My family loved this pie. When I finished cooking the chocolate and tasted it I didn't think it was that good but after chilling it was delicious. We did scoop Cool whip on top and that was great.

Coconut Cream Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2007
This recipe is outstanding. I had never made coconut cream pie but since it was the favorite dessert of our hostess at Easter I decided to give it a try. There were four desserts and this was the first to disappear and received the highest praise. I'm planning on making again this week for a dinner group!

Honey Ginger Shrimp

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
This was simple to make and delicious. I omitted the red pepper for my kids and one of them loved the shrimp. For us, I followed the recipe and thought it had just the right amount of kick. Thanks for a great recipe.

Pan-Fried Squash

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
I was the only one in my family that liked this. I would of given it a 4 but my husband and kids took one bite and wouldn't eat any more so I'm only giving it a 3. I followed the recipe exactly but it sure seemed like there was too much vinegar. I'd recommend using 1 T. and then adding more if you feel it's needed.

El Grande Borezo Chicken

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
Sorry - but this just didn't taste that great to us. My 5 year old liked it dipped in barbeque sauce but noone else was crazy about it.

Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2006
This is a fantastic recipe. I made 12 large muffins and one loaf (cook muffins less time). I made them as part of a brunch today and everyone loved them. The glaze is a fantastic finishing touch!

Gooey Butter Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2006
I made this for a family gathering yesterday and everyone loved it. I did cut the powdered sugar down a little (I used 3 1/4 cups) and it was still plenty sweet. Thanks for a great recipe.

Pumpkin Maple Pie Supreme

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
I followed the recipe exactly and thought it was superb. I had made a pumpkin pie with maple a few years ago and couldn't find the recipe. This looked similar so I tried it and will keep this one. The maple complements the pumpkin perfectly. I did have to cook mine quite a bit longer than the recipe called for - not sure if that's because of my confection oven but I just kept an eye on it and it turned out great. This will be a Thanksgiving tradition.

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
This is the best coffee cake I ever made. I made it for my annual holiday brunch and everyone loved it. I did make it in a bundt pan and put the topping in the middle and then did an easy frosting I drizzled on top. Looked beautiful and tasted great.

Spinach Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
This recipe is awesome. It's got so much flavor - very addictive. I've brought it to a couple functions and it's always been a big hit. It makes a large amount so you need a crowd to eat it. I think it is great the next day too. I love the garlic in it but if you don't you might cut it down some. Thanks for the great recipe! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
These cookies are absolutely terrific. They look beautiful and taste fantastic. I took one reviewers hint and heated raspberry up and that made it very easy to fill. They take a little time to form balls but it is definitely worth the effort!

Creamy Smoked Salmon Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
This was really simple to make and tasty. I'm giving it 4 stars as I felt like it needed just a bit more spice. My husband and I both liked it but my kids didn't so not sure I'll make it again.
