Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches
This is by far the best method of making corned beef I have ever used. I highly reccomend using the liquid left over to boil potatoes, onions, carrots and cabbage one the meat is removed.
If you use a stout such as guiness you can make a very unique and delicious gravy from some of the kiquid one the veggies are removed. I actually put some of the liquid in a blender and toss in some carrots, onions, a few of the garlic cloves and some potato, then blend it into a slurry. Then just pour it into a sauce pan add some cornstarch/water mix and bring it to a boil. It really comes out quite phenomanal and is nothing anyone at your dinner table will have tried before.
Thanks for the excellent recipe!
