Grandma Johnson's Scones
Absolutely the best scone recipe I've ever made (or eaten). I love trying different add-ins each time. So far lemon/poppyseed is my favorite, but I also love them with dried cherries, blueberries, raisins, apricots (cut into small pieces), and fruit mixtures that I find at Trader Joe's. I find that I have better luck with dried fruit compared to fresh. I enjoy making them with my little granddaughter because she loves to help me cut them out. All my friends and neighbors are thrilled when I bring over a batch -- along with clotted cream, of course!!! I highly recommend trying this recipe. It really is the best ever!

Cheese Crackers
Just tried this recipe last night and am really pleased with the results. I substituted cayenne pepper (1/4 teaspoon) for the red pepper flakes and added chopped fresh rosemary for a little extra taste. They turned out to be very tasty. I can't wait to try it with different cheeses (Swiss or Gruyere) and maybe other herbs. Very versatile! I've been disappointed with the results of similar recipes but this one is a real keeper! Thanks for the recipe, Domestic Chef.

Best Ever Creamy Soup
I really LOVE this soup. I omit the potatoes (to reduce carbs for a diabetic) and sauté broccoli and cauliflower along with the onions in olive oil and butter, then follow the other directions as listed. I use my immersion blender and blend all the vegetables once they are cooked. The soup is very creamy without lots of extra calories. Once the cheese is added, no salt or pepper are needed; the flavor is perfect. I've started calling this my "Virtuous Soup". Thanks for sharing the recipe, AMEHNEY.
