Bebop Baked Beans

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2009
These are soooooo good. I made these for a birthday party and they were the first to go. Then I made them the next day and added some chopped onion and used 6 slices of bacon and mixed the bacon in with the beans. We liked the added onion and extra bacon. Just make sure you double or triple the batch, because they go fast.

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
These were so easy to make. And sooooo good. I got 52 cream puffs using the small cookie scoop from Pampered Chef. I also used parchment paper and they did not stick. Make sure to cook them for the 20-25 minutes and the middles will be hallow. I was told once that the way to test a cream puff to see if they are done is to tap them with the back of a spoon and they should sound hallow and it worked.

Lisa's Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
I made this cake following the recipe to a T-well I can't say to a T because I used a whole bag of milk chocolate chips. And I also made the cake using the suggestion of using only a 1/2 of oil. The cake using 1 cup of oil was more moist then only using 1/2 c of oil. The cake with only a 1/2 c of oil was a little more dense. This is a keeper-following the recipe to a T.

Apricot Brown Sugar Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
My whole family loved this recipe. I did not have any dry mustard powder, so I just used regular mustard. I rubbed this mixture all over the ham and let it marinade for 5 hours. I cooked mine on top of the stove in my waterless, stainless steel cookware. YUM, YUM!!

Chocolate Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
My family loved this pie. I prefer more milk chocolate. This was too much dark chocolate for me. I also increased the cornstarch to 4 Tbls. And I used 2 cups half and half and one cup milk. But if you are going to make this pie please don't top it with cool whip, use real whipping cream.

Grandpa's Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2008
These were sooooo good. I used vanilla, but want to try it with the vinegar. I thought they tasted better the next day. Some reviews said the popcorn mixture stuck to the bowl. I sprayed the bowl with pam spray before putting the popcorn in it. The popcorn mixture did not stick to the bowl.

Oatmeal Raisin Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
After reading the reviews I did change the recipe a little. Instead of 1 cup butter, I used 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup shortening. I also added 1/2 tsp salt. I used a 8oz bag of Heath Toffee Bits and quick cooking oats. My cookies did not spread or stick to the parchment paper. I only let them cool for 3 minutes on the cookie sheet before moving them onto a cooling rack. I will definitely make these cookies again. But I will increase the rasins to 1 1/2 cups.

Easy Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2008
I think a better name for these bars would be cheesecake bars. There was not much of a lemon taste. The filling needs to be doubled.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2007
These pork chops are soooooo good! I used chicken broth instead of the wine. I also used cream of chicken soup. I thought baking them for 90 minutes would make these pork chops dry, but no they were so moist and tender. Even my picky 10 year old liked them. Served with mashed potatoes. Next time I will double the sauce to get more gravy.

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
These cookies taste like a real good cake like chocolate chip cookie, but not much of a pumpkin flavor. I even increased the nutmeg to 1/2 tsp. My family will probably like these because there is not much of a pumpkin flavor.

The Best Chicken Soup Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2006
Wonderful! The only thing that I did different was, I didn't have beef bouillon cubes, so I used 2 tsp of beef bouillon granules. Also I used 3 carrots and chopped them finely. I only used 1/2 of an onion, my family is not big on onions. I also added salt.
