Sausage and Mushroom Tarts

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
I know this is my recipe but I wanted to give a tip. If you like yours a little crispier bake the tart cups for about 5 min before you fill them

Sausage Spinach Manicotti

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
I made this for dinner and my whole family raved about it. I used more cheese than the recipe called for because we are cheese junkies. I also added sausage and mushrooms to the cheese mixture. I used a ziplock bag with the corner cut to fill the pasta. I also used ricotta instead of cottage cheese.

Cranberry and Apple Stuffed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
I made this for dinner tonight and my husband told me that it was the best meal i've ever cooked. I added some garlic and chopped almonds to the apple mix but other than that I followed the recipe exactly

Deluxe Corned Beef Hash

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2011
I've been trying to find the perfect hash recipe. This one came out great with a few modifications. First i blanched the potatoes in my deep fryer for about 3 min at 375. I mixed it all together and put it in the oven at 350 for 30 min and the potatoes browned up nicely. I'll definately be making this one again!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
I guess we may be a little spoiled by our other chicken recipes because this was only ok for us. Not bad. Everyone ate it but no one raved about it. Probally wont make again.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
WOW were these good! I took someones suggestions by turning the pan upside down while cooling to let the rolls absorb the filling in the bottom of the pan. My family is already begging me to make these again!

Brie and Mushroom Phyllo Puffs

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2007
I made these once and didn't like the work that went into them so I bought the phyllo cups instead. I also added itallian sausage and instead of brie i used an itallian 5 cheese blend and melted it over the top. They were gone in seconds and everyone wanted the recipe.

Crock Pot Portobello Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2009
I wasn't real fond of this. Maybe it was the dressing. I used wishbone light itallian and it all came out tasting very vinegary. I may try it again but definately pick your dressing wisely. Perhaps a cheesy itallian with less vinegar in it.

Yummy!!! I used white chocolate chips instead and they were wonderful. Be sure not to cook them longer than the 11 min!

French Fried Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
The sugar really does make all the difference! You do need to fry twice though. About 2 or 3 min the first time and let them cool. Then fry them again till golden.

French Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2011
This bread was very good! My family ate both loaves with spaghetti. I cooked the loves on parchment paper instead of the cornmeal and it came out perfect. I also put a couple of ice cubes in the bottom of the oven.

Sourdough Bread III

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2011
This was a very good recipe. My starter was fairly young and I was a little nervous. My in-laws were coming for dinner and I wanted to impress them. My father in-law loved the rolls I made from this. He is a sourdough junkie and said these were the best! Thanks!

My husband begged me to find this recipe. My kids and husband loved it! I have never been a fan of this dish so I'm taking my opinion out of the equation and giving it the 5 stars that they insist it deserves.

This is the perfect simple starter! I feed mine 1/3 cups water and flower and a pinch of sugar once a day. Then I feed it 1 cup each before using/storing. Thanks for the recipe!

Taylor's Piroshki

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2011
These were very good, just like you get at the fair. I added garlic to the meat mixture and a cube of cojack cheese. I made the dough in the bread machine and it came out fine.

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
While these had really good flavor they came out really thick and hard to eat. The burger tends to be the width of the bacon you use and that's just a little too thick for my taste.

Calzone

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
This was a great dough recipe. The only thing I did different was I added some garlic powder and itallian seasoning to the dough. We made personal size calzones so everyone could fill it with their favorites. Thanks for the recipe!
