Grandma's Gnocchi

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
Never made and never had gnocchi before. This was pretty good, a little bland. I will make this again. Thanks!

Beef Nacho Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2010
Not bad, not real exciting either. The flavor is OK. I ususally don't fault that to the recipe, as I cannot smell. Not being able to smell, diminishes my taste ability to sweet, salty, bitter, or sour. But DH and DD thought it didn't have much flavor either. Thanks!

Individual Beef Wellingtons

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2010
These were great. Had them for dinner tonight. They were easy to make. I only made two with one sheet of puff pastry cut in 1/2. I don't have any sherry, so I used balsamic vinegar instead. They were awesome and DH ate the whole filet. Thanks!

Chocolate Chip Cheesecake I

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2010
This recipe is very good. I have made a lot of cheesecakes, never used sweetened condensed milk before. Not sure if it added anything than other recipes I've used that has different ingredients. It is very rich. Very easy. My only problem, though I did leave it in the oven for an additional hour, the top cracked deeply. Other recipes that call for leaving the cake in the oven have not cracked like this one. Thanks!

Chili Rellenos Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
I told my husband that we might wind up at Panda Express when I first took this out of the oven. First, I don't know how anyone can make this recipe work in a 9x13 pan. I started with a 9x13 and then switched to a 9x9. The only other changes I made were to add the entire 14 oz. can of evaporated milk, skip the regular milk and add an extra tablespoon of flour because of the extra mlk. If I make this again, I'll probably put in 1/2 can of evap milk and increase to three eggs. Thanks!

Creamy Pimento Cheese

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
This is pretty good. Maybe I should have kept the pimento juice for more flavor. Next time I will follow other reviewers and use the juice. I like that it is a lot cheaper to make than it is to buy in the grocery store.

No Bake Cookies I

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
I liked these, hubby not so much. If I make these again, I will let the mixture sit for about three minutes before spooning onto the wax paper. Thanks!

These weren't easy to make. Maybe I used to much filling. They were awkward to close. They tasted pretty good.

I liked this. I had corn tortillas in the pantry, so I used them. Other reviews had suggested corn and it works!

Uglies

Easy to make and fun to eat. These are almost like the barbecue beef cups recipe here on AR. I liked just rolling the biscuits flat and serving like individual pizzas. Thaks!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

Very tasty. Paired with a spaghetti dinner and they were easy to make and nice and garlicky. I thought they were going to be pretty dense, but they were nice and fluffy.

This was good, the hubby liked it a lot. The broccoli should probably be blanched, it was too hard raw. Thanks.

Pork Chops with Blue Cheese Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2010
These were OK. The gravy was too thin and the cooking time on the pork chops was too long, they were dry. Thanks.
