Very Easy Crab Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2012
My mom makes a dip like this but adds cream cheese, a tablespoon of prepared horseradish, a few dashes of worcestershire sauce and a couple dashes of garlic sauce mix and chill. I think these additions make for a more interesting dip.

Oven Fried Chicken II

Reviewed: May 10, 2012
I use all chicken parts, and in the bread crumbs i mix in parmesan cheese, and instead of the oil I put a pad of butter (about a teaspoon) on each pice of chicken, works better and tastes better than oil

Creamy Apple Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2010
I just made this dip and I really didn't follow the measurements I just combined the peanutbutter and yogurt untill I got the flavor/texure I wanted. I did however add a few dashes of pumpkin pie spice, this addition made the dip more interesting.

Patriotic Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2010
This version is kinda boring...I take a quater cup of oragnge juice and a teaspoon of almond extract mix together then pour over the cubed angel food cake (the cake will not get soggy it just addes a nice flavor.) Then layer with pudding mixture and frozen strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Put in frig for about 2 to 3 hours. By the time you are ready to serve the berries have thawd. This is really good!!

Tortellini Bacon Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2010
Very good, I added the bacon at the end so that is didn't get to soggy. I also added the whole bottle of dressing, if I didn't the salad would have been way to dry. Everyone loved it!

Caper Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
I realy liked this dish! My chicken was very moist! I did not bake it at 425 as suggested I baked my chicked at 400 between 45 min and an hour. I poured the sauce that it made over the chicken when served. We slopped up the extra juice with some crusty bread, it was very yummy!! :)

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2009
This was a good recipe. I added more onion and spinach and more seasoning. Next time I think I will use yellow/red or orange peppers and I will cook them longer in the oven for more tenderness. The stuffing mixture would be great by its self or maybe with some brown or white rice.

Waistline-Friendly Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2009
This chili was very tasty and very easy to make. I didn't have chipotle bbq sause on hand so I used regular bbq and I had a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce so I cut a couple of those up and tossed them in, I also didn't have a red bell pepper but I don't think I missed having it in there. I will be making this again! Thanks for the recipe!
