Grain and Nut Whole Wheat Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2012
OH SO GOOD! I made these but altered the recipe quite a bit and they still turned out FABULOUS! I was going for a reduced fat and sugar version of this. I used 1 3/4 whole wheat flour since I only used 2 tbsp of sugar. I added extra flour for consistency. I also used 2 tbsp of oil, 1 tbsp of honey, 1 whole egg and an extra egg white, 1% milk and made buttermilk using 1% milk and a little lemon juice. They pancakes are SO good! My entire family loves them so I will make them anytime we are craving pancakes. We topped it with a thin layer of peanut butter and some sugar free syrup. SERIOUSLY good, trust me.

Jo's Rosemary Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2012
Please allow me to mimic as previous reviewers have said. Best bread recipe ever! It does taste just like the bread from Macaroni Grill. REALLY great stuff. Light and fluffy and packed with flavor. REALLY delicious. I followed the recipe exactly, just adding each item from the top down. Make sure to use warm water, not cold since it could mess up the yeast.

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
Easy recipes and tastes JUST like the crepes my mom makes. This will be my go to crepes recipe from now on. AWESOME! Only changes I made were to add 3 tablespoons of UNSALTED butter instead of 2. It was nice an buttery flavored without taking away the texture of the crepes. I also put the liquids in one bowl while putting the flour in the other and slowly adding the liquid while whisking. I felt like it would have been too chunky adding the eggs to the flour. Turned out AMAZING!

Oatmeal Banana Nut Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
I did exactly as the recipe called for but I changed regular shortening for butter flavored shortening and it turned out more than perfect. It was very moist with just a hint of crispy around the edges. I baked mine in a silicone pan maybe thats why. I had no problem with it being dry at all. I will make this recipe from now on but next time I will add the oatmeal/cinnamon topping as suggested! TYVM!!!!!!

Best Peanut Butter Cookies Ever

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
I was looking for a cookie recipe that didn't involve butter because I didn't have any. I had a sweet tooth like no other. So I tried this recipe and it DEFINITLY hit the spot. I made these and they turned out good. I could only eat one because it was so sweet but it did fill that craving for sugar. The only pointer that I have is to let the cookies sit on the pan for about 5 minutes before taking them off because they will fall apart if you try doing it right away. They turned out great and my 2 year old loved it.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2006
I used this recipe for my main ingredients but I did change a few things as people suggested. I used 1/2 cup shortening, 1/2 cup butter, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 1/2 cups oats and 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chips. I also changed the temperature to 325 degrees and cooked it for about 2 minutes longer and mine turned out AWESOME! I use a cooking stone (as I always do) and they cooked evenly and they were chewy and yummy. My husband and I ate all of them within 2 days. They were great the next day too. They had alot of chocolate in them, just as I like so if you don't like too much chocolate in it, I would use maybe 3/4 cup of chocolate instead.
