Marinated Slaw

Over all good flavor... too sweet for me. Will try 1/2 cup sugar next time. I did substitute white sugar with splenda & that could have made it sweeter, and used half green and half red cabbage for color. I will definately try this recipe again. Thank you!

Smothered Tilapia

Yum. I did make some changes by using sliced cherry tomatoes, smoked mozarella and Emirl's steak seasoning. So flavorful and easy to make. Tasted great the next day also! Thank you-

Marinara Sauce

What a wonderful flavor. I did omit the EVOO and replaced it with roasted garlic in a jar, and I used Splenda instead of white sugar... Great to freeze. Next time I will double the recipe. Wonderful over sliced microwaved veggies. Thank you!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Great easy resipe. Was a hit at Thanksgiving. I did use course salt, and used a papertowel to squeeze all the water out of the spinach.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Very good, easy to make, great directions. I made it and my husband enjoyed it and he would eat it again. My husband is the cook in the family so that shows me this is a good recipe!!!

Zippy Ground Beef Skillet

This was good and easy to make. Ingredient/amt changes: spinach & wheat pasta, 1 onion, 1 orange pepper, 2 Tb honey, 2 Spiracha Hot Chili Sauce, 4 Tb sliced jalapenos, 2 Tb hot chili powder and WOW did that zip up the flavor. For those that do not like it hot the original recipe was good.

Simple Turkey Chili

Very bland flavor. I even doubled the spices. I do suggest using refried beans instead of mashing kidney beans. The recipe sounded good... I froze what I made and maybe when I reheat it the flavors will come out.

Microwave Spiced Nuts

This was so good and easy. They were gone in minutes. I added a shake of ground cloves and used toasted salted pecan halves. They also made great gifts. Thank you Jim and your mom!
