Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
Added mushrooms, left out the sour cream, and used mozzarella instead. Turned out great! I made the mistake of not using a rack in the oven and baking it in a dish so the chicken sat in grease/liquids. I would recommend NOT cooking the bacon ahead of time as others have suggested. Let the bacon do it's job and it will be flavorful and moist!

Black Bean Rice Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2008
This is definitely a keeper! My kids loved them. They were very meaty, much better than premade veggie burgers. I used a food processor to mix and used bread crumbs as other reviewers suggested. Some garlic powder added good flavoring. Very good with the salsa/sour cream!

Best Breakfast Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
I was surprise at the rave reviews this cookie got. These were just OK to me. I prefer a greater oatmeal to flour ratio. I'm still searching for the best breakfast cookie.

Stuffed Shells III

Reviewed: May 11, 2008
Wonderful! My whole family loved it. I cut back on everything by 1/2 except for the mozarella cheese, otherwise it makes a huge amount. I added spinach and did not add any salt (the cheeses have enough salt). Thanks for sharing.

Bread Machine Bagels

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2008
Ohhh my gosh!! These were outstanding! Very chewy and good. I substituted 1 cup of the bread flour for whole wheat flour to make them a little healthier. My kids loved them and keep asking for more. Thanks for the recipe!

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2007
Wonderful! In the past I have always turned up my nose to meals with canned soup. I gave this a try and everyone raved about it. Will make again. Thanks!

Grilled Chicken and Potato Foil Packs

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
I made this camping. It was a hit with everyone, including the little ones and clean up was so nice!! I used white wine instead of vinegar (not a big vinegar fan) and herbs de provence instead of the herbs listed. What a keeper!

Oat-N-Honey Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
Wonderful! I've been making bread for years and found this to be the best!! Healthy, yet it doesn't taste like lead. I added an extra tablespoon of honey and used regular milk (didn't have buttermilk on hand) and it was fabulous!! I also added 2 tsps of yeast. Thanks!! I love the other wheat bread recipe from the same cook. Thanks Kathy!

Easy and Delicious Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2006
If you follow this recipe, make sure the chicken is fully thawed. There is a big risk of food poisoning when cooking with frozen chicken in the crock pot.

Pizza Crust for Bread Machine

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
I'm so glad to see another pizza crust recipe with semolina flour. I've been experimenting but could never get it quite right. It is a very essential ingredient. Other pizza crusts without semolina flour are too bread-like. Thanks for sharing!!

Whole Wheat Beer Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2006
Excellent and easy!! I'm a busy mom and the work involved with yeast breads was too time consumming. I did 2 cups whole wheat flour and 1 cup AP flour. Also make sure to use Aluminum-free baking powder (Rumford brand). I was having a bitter aftertaste and saw a reviewer suggest this, it makes a BIG difference.

Beer Butt Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
Excellent! I've made chicken like this before and it wasn't very good. This recipe showed me the secret is adding seasonings to the beer. I cooked without the butter and had the grill on medium heat-it only took 1 hour despite the 25 F temperature outside. Fabulous!! My daughter thought the chicken sitting on the can was hysterical.
