Broccoli Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
I used 1/3 cup heavy cream and 2 cups sharp shredded cheddar instead of the Cheese Whiz. It was excellent! My family loved it.

Too much tomato. Needed a little something although I'm not sure exactly what.

Katrina's Best-Ever Chocolate Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
Too bitter. Maybe it was the cocoa I used. I'm not sure, but they were very buttery and a little too bitter. Wanted something sweeter like the boxed brownies.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2008
I have never had success in making beef stroganoff before this dish. The recipe is easy to follow and tastes great! The only thing I changed was instead of adding 6oz of canned mushrooms, I added fresh mushrooms. I think the wine really adds something great to this tried and true dish.

Corn Casserole II

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
I made this recipe with jiffy cornbread mix, and I didn't have to add the sugar as another reviewer suggested. This dish turned out fantastic! My husband hates scalloped corn, but he was impressed with the flavor of this dish. I would definitely make this again for a special occasion or potluck. It really is just a little too much for a "regular" family meal and makes way more than 4 servings!!

Simple But Awesome Lemon Pepper Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 16, 2007
I liked this recipe! I was concerned about the amount of olive oil and butter for each chop since I was using boneless chops, so I halved the amount of olive oil and butter for each foil wrapped chop. They still turned out tender and delicious. Thanks!

Sue's Taco Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2006
Make sure you are cooking for a small crowd with this salad. The only thing I don't like about it is that it gets soggy overnight. There's no really good way to eat it left over.

Rice A Roni™ Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2006
I lightened this recipe up just a bit by using fat free mayo and low sodium rice mix. It's still just as good!!

Chris' Bay Area Burger

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2006
It was a relatively tasty burger, but my young children didn't like the spice. You could definitely taste the garlic and basil--too much for 1-5 year olds perhaps. It was okay, but I probably won't make it again.
