Simple Hamburger Stroganoff

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2008
I am going to start this off with a big WOW!! I am eating it right now and it is sooo good!!I haven't made stroganoff in a very long time and this is much better than mine. I used rice instead of noodles, halved the amount of cream cheese and added garlic salt to the hamburger. Those are the only things I changed. One thing I wish I would have changed though, is the amount of hamburger. I don't think there is enough. There is a lot of the creamy, wonderful sauce, but not enough hamburger. I would probably add about a half pound more next time and it will be prefect. Oh and another thing I did different was I mixed everything except the rice together instead of two seperate things, and I just served it over rice.

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
The stew wasnt at all what I was expecing. It tasted more like my pot roast than beef stew. It wasn't thick like beef stew normally is, but more like a beef soup...This one isnt going into my recipe box. Sorry

Chocolate Frosting I

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2008
This was just ok for me. very sweet and had a weird taste to it...I cant put my finger on what it was.. in order to get it thick enough, i would have had to put a lot of powdered sugar in it, but it already had too much when I quit adding it...eh...I wont make it again.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2008
This is the BEST meatloaf I have ever had!! I took other reviewers advice and put the glaze on top instead of the bottom, I used 1/2c milk and omitted the ginger. It was the first meatloaf I have ever made and I was wonderful. Even my picky 5 year old ate it!

Factory Workers Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
This tasted a whole lot better than I thought. I used chicken tenders and marinated them all day, then I just poured everything in a 13 x 9 and baked it in the oven for 20 mins. on 450. I will definitley make this again.

These were just not all that great...I couldnt eat them because they were too dry and I didnt want have to add tons of butter and syrup just to make them edible. I wont make these again.

Amazing Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2007
This was very good!! I tweaked it just a little by adding a packet of Ranch seasoning to the bread crumbs. I think next time ill use miracle whip instead of the mayo and see how that turns out!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
This is a very sweet recipe! The brownies dont get the crust on top like they should but Since the icing was very runny when i first made it (I dont know why people were saying it was thick)I just poured the icing on top while it was still hot, and I let it soak into the brownies. The brownies were rather dense, not the fudgy stuff I was looking forward to. This is a great recipe for someone with a sweet tooth. Overall, I will probably make again!!

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

Reviewed: May 4, 2007
This was the best marinade I have ever had!!! It was a big hit with the family. I had some pretty thick steaks so i used a flavor injector to inject it into the steaks. It was great. The only change I made was I halved the pepper because we arent big pepper eaters. I am going to use it again tonight for a london broil.

Peanut Butter Cocoa No-Bake Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2006
I tried this recipe today and it wasnt what I expected. I thought there were too many oats. next time I will try less oats. The taste is good but I couldnt get them to set up correctly. They werent firm when I cooled them. Does anyone have any idea what I might have done wrong? I boiled the mix for a little over 2 minutes and I followed the recipe exactly. I will make this again They tasted great considering they didnt set up lol.
