I love food. However, I am vegan, and now I've been trying to find all sorts of alternatives to everything I used to like. Its been tough, but its good. I'm 21 and I go to college. I'm almost done, thank goodness. Lately I've been thinking about opening a restaurant.
My favorite things to cook
I used to love chicken. Now I love to make stirfries. I've recently gotten into making block "uncheeses."
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving was a great tradition. But now that I'm vegan I don't eat the meat, but I've started my own tradition of making delicious vegan appetizers for family gatherings.
My cooking triumphs
Meatless/Non-dairy crab rangoon! It was so good, I submitted a recipe to allrecipes for it... they haven't okayed it yet. Everyone send emails saying that you want to know the recipe! I promise that it is just as good, if not better than real chinese food crab rangoons.
My cooking tragedies
I made some "orange cream cheese cookie cups" and they were.... awful.
Also, cilantro sauce, its just too bitter.
