Sugared Black Raspberry Tea Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2007
Absolutely delicious, if a bit sweet. They definitely want a cup of tea. Next time I'm going to try almond extract and (fewer) white chocolate chips with the raspberry jam. Chopped almonds and chocolate in the well would be great too. They look cute, too. Good for the holidays. Thanks!

Asparagus and Tomato Salad with Yogurt-Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: May 7, 2006
I made just the yogurt sauce to stir into Leah Perez's "zucchini saute", and it was absolutely delicious. Next time, I'll likely add more mustard, and I'll be sure to use real, freshly grated parmesan. Asiago would be great too!

Chocolate Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2006
It seemed way too thin when it was still warm, but it thickened up nicely onced cooled. (Still, I might use a touch less water next time.) It's been perfect drizzled over brownies, and was a nice treat in my iced coffee this morning. This recipe will satiate my chocolate cravings for years to come. Thanks!

Lighter Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2006
Beautiful! I too used four bananas, and added vanilla and cinnamon. Oh yes, and I dusted the tops with brown sugar, yum! I actually got sixteen muffins, but I think my muffin tins might be a bit small. Can't wait to make these again!

Avocado Soup with Chicken and Lime

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2006
This soup is unbelievable. When I made it for a friend, she suggested I quit my job and open a soup shop! The lime (and all those jalapenos!) really makes it. I cannot wait to make it again!

Yogurt Cheese

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2006
I couldn't get over how easy, and tasty, this cheese was. It made a great veggie dip, and a perfect sandwich spread. I made it according to the recipe this time, but I can't wait to experiment with the ingredients. Fresh dill is up first!

Zucchini Saute

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2006
This recipe is so delicious and healthy. I skip the oil entirely and just saute the onions (and garlic!) in water, which makes this recipe pretty much fat free. I also double the rice so I can eat it as a main. Fantastic! (Some changes I've tried: You can easily substitute the zucchini with cucumber, and Jen's "yogurt cheese dressing" (3 tbsp. yogurt, 1 tbsp. prepared mustard, 1 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese) is fantastic stirred throughout the dish. Yum!)
