Golden Yam Brownies

I made these exactly as written. I wasn't crazy about the texture of the brownies with the shredded sweet potato. The flavor was good but I think I would have liked them better if the potatoes were cooked and mashed, then added to the batter. I also agree with the reviews that say to decrease the butter. It was just a little too much for me. I would try it again with some modifications though

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

very good but not quite worth all of the calories and fat with the heavy cream. i would make with 2% milk and maybe just a little cream for flavor.

Hot Onion Dip

i thought this was pretty good, I made a large batch for a wedding, and people kept taking big sccops because they thought it was a potato dish! I served it with toasted mini baguette rounds and crackers. I will make this again.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

Clone of a Cinnabon

This is my standard cinnamon roll recipe from now on. I love how you can throw everything in the bread machine. the results are tasty as well. definately try this recipe!

Grilled Bacon Jalapeno Wraps

These tast great, but were difficult to cook. Bacon on a grill? It kept flaring up and burning everything. I will try this again using my toaster overn on broil and see what happens.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Ok, so I catered a wedding for 100 people last weekend and made this chicken salad to put between croissants...it was spectacular. i had many, mnay compliments and requests for the recipe. it was my first time making this so I was a little nervous, but it was absolutely great. I did buy 5 rotisserie chickens from sam's club and used that for extra flavor...I would highly recommend!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

I followed the marinade recipes exactly, poked holes in the pork loin with a fork and let it sit overnight in the fridge. I was cooking a large amount of meat, so i cooked it in the pven instead on 350 until tender (3 hours?). I did throw in some carrots and cut up yukon gold potatoes. I served this at a family gathering and had to give out several copies of the recipe. The meat was tender, juicy and sligtly sweet. I will definately make this again.

Scrumptious Strawberry Shortcake

I made these shortcakes for our 4th of July barbeque, and they turned out very good. Even my grandmother, who is very picky, said they were, "melt in your mouth good"! I would highly recommend this recipe! I followed the recipe except that I did not roll them out. I rolled them into balls and dipped the tops into sugar and flattened them slightly. They were wonderful!

I love this recipe. I made this for company and they said that I couldn't make it again unless I was inviting them over. I could have cooked the crust a bit longer, but it was still an excellent recipe.

Chocolate Trifle

I made this for Christmas exactly as recipe states. My teenage boy cousins called this the dessert from heaven and my husband told me that I can make this anytime. Definately a keeper! I made this again but used fresh whipped cream. I didn't think it was possible to make this dessert any better, but OMG! It made the filling taste like a french silk, and it was divine!

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Every time I make this pie I get lots of requests for the recipe. The last time I made it, I think it should hae baked a little longer, but it still got lots of compliments! Great recipe!
