Best Ever Muffins

Made these with the kids-my first ever attempt at homemade muffins & they turned out awesome! We added the cup of cheddar and some garlic powder. Cut sugar way down as suggested to maybe 1/4 cup & topped with cheese. Sending em for school lunches this week...thanks for the great recipe!!!!

Crispy Rosemary Chicken and Fries

SO easy and SO delicious! It was a HUGE hit with my husband - I love how it requires so few ingredients that are all pantry staples, yet it comes out tasting gourmet, like it required hours of work! I'd say this is the best chicken thigh recipe I've ever found. My husband is requesting it again tonight! (And it sure makes it easy when we've got a huge rosemary bush out front LOL!)

French Crepes

My first time making crepes...first few weren't so great but then they got better and better. Good recipe. Had to use a blender because I couldn't find my mixer. 2 tbsps was too little for my big frying pan so I had a little trouble finding the perfect amount for my pan but it seemed thinner was better. We rolled em up with cinamon and sugar inside and sprinkled with powdered sugar and sprinkles then dipped in syrup. My toddlers LOVED em and so did I!

Smothered Chicken Breasts

Excellent meal! I made it for Father's Day because my husband LOVES bacon - he devoured a giant breast. I had bone-in on hand which turned out fine (juicy, even!). I took the advice of other posters - cooked the bacon first, then the onions, then the chicken and finally baked the chicken in the oven for about 15-20 min at 380. I used just a few tbsps of brown sugar and cheddar cheese. It was absolutely delicious!!!!!!!! Will make again!

Excellent, easy, inexpensive - yum! I didn't have pimentos, used dried parsley, shredded cheddar jack & no water. Topped with parmesan cheese. I also used wide egg noodles instead of spaghetti noodles. Soooooo good even my picky 3 year old loved it. Thanks for sharing!

Creamy Chicken on Linguine

Awesome awesome recipe! In fact, the best I've had on allrecipes yet! I strayed pretty far from the original recipe so I apologize to the Chef but it turned out just awesome. First, I cut the chicken in small strips then dipped in an egg wash and coated in a flour/Italian bread crumb mix with paprika, black pepper, oregano, sweet basil, and salt. Then I fried with onions and minced garlic - it turned out incredibly yummy. Then set aside the chicken and use that pan to simmer additional onions, red peppers and chicken broth. In the meantime I prepared the asparagus: arrange so tips are even then rubberband and blanche in hot water for 1-2 min until bright green. Put in cold water to stop cooking then arrange in an even layer on cookie sheet. Lightly brush with olive oil and then salt. Cook for 5 min in 400 degree oven until sizzling. Then cut into 1 inch pieces and throw into the skillet with the chicken, red peppers, etc at the very end. I also found it needed a lot more sauce and probably would've doubled the sauce. (Of course I added more stuff too so I definitely needed more.) I hardly used any milk mainly the heavy cream in the sauce. Breading the chicken and mixing it in with the sauce and pasta helped thicken the sauce a bit as well (I did mix everything together at the end). I know a lot of reviewers said the sauce was a bit runny. My husband and I about died when we ate this it was just so incredible. We're looking forward to the leftovers for dinner tonight!!!! Thank

My Mom followed this recipe I printed out for her and it turned out REALLY good! I'm not sure what exactly she might've done differently but YUM it turned out wonderfully. Very homey!

Becca's Custom Turkey Shepherd's Pie

Ok so I don't know if I can really review this recipe because I TOTALLY changed it! LOL! But it still turned out really good because I used the recipe as a base. I skipped the crust to start. I used fresh green beans (steamed them for 5-7 minutes then threw them in the skillet with everything else), celery, carrots and towards the end of the skilleting, added most of a can of corn (so no zucchini or mushrooms - we don't like them). Otherwise, I did everything the same - I just added a little more thyme and also some Italian seasoning. I'd say the cheese layer is a must - it was so yummy. Oh and be careful not to make the potato topping too thick. Overall, fantastic meal that we both loved!!!!!!!

Chicken Noodle Casserole

Very good. I used regular milk and I think maybe a bit too much, along with a bit too much chicken broth (I added more than the recipe called for - not smart!). Anyways, mine turned into more of a stroganoff style pasta dish but it was still excellent. We all had 2nds and 3rds. Next time, I'll be sure to follow the recipe exactly and I'm sure it'll turn out thicker. Highly recommend this recipe - was pretty easy and finally, a chicken casserole recipe that doesn't call for condensed soup!!!! WOOO!

Famous Chicken Francaise

Absolutely TA DIE FOR!! Seriously, out of dozens of recipes I've tried on allrecipes, this is by far one of THE BEST. I took the recipe a little further. I marinated the chicken breast in lemon juice & lemon pepper spices first for about 15-20 min. at room temp. I also added 2 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet before throwing the chicken in. And I added more paprika on the chicken after putting it in the skillet. After the chicken was cooked, I took it out and put in on a plate, then wrapped it in foil to keep it hot. Then I made a sort of gravy/sauce out of the leftover chicken broth, etc in the pan. I just mixed in corn starch, milk and a little chicken stock. To serve, I put cooked egg noodles on the plate first, then the sauce, and then topped it with the chicken. Served with sweet corn & it was an amazing meal. It would also have been really good if I cut the cooked chicken up and mixed the sauce, egg noodles and chicken all together. Oh, & I did have to make extra sauce - the egg noodles soak it up. Finally, I did not put the sauce/gravy over the chicken. It didn't need it - it was incredible without it! The author's description of the chicken said, "Heaven" & it's really true, this meal was HEAVEN on a plate. My fiance kept saying over and over, "THIS IS AWESOME!" He couldn't eat it fast enough & kept asking for seconds. His friend, who was a Caterer for the stars also LOVED it! THANKS!!!!

Summer Chicken Burgers

Perfect summer meal with great flavor that's very easy to throw together but has a gourmet feel! We loved it! My fiance doesn't like avocado but still loved it without too! P.S. We threw Havarti cheese on and it was delicious!

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

I used feta cheese instead since we don't like blue cheese and this recipe was just fantastic. The sauce was really easy to make and just made the meal so tasty. I also made a non-beef version for myself since I don't eat red meat. I used chicken broth instead of beef broth and put the sauce over chicken. Served it with roasted asparagus and a Creamy Corn Casserole - wow, what a hit!!!!

Ground Turkey Casserole

I agree with another of the reviews I read on this meal (and wish I had read beforehand!) in that the sour cream & cream cheese mixture was VERY overwhelming and it even curdled a bit so it also had a weird texture. I added a lot of things to spice up the flavor but again, at best it was only ok. We ended up throwing most of it out. I think it might have been better with an actual marinara or spaghetti sauce instead of just tomato and much MUCH less of the sour cream mixture or less of something anyway.
