Snowballs II

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2012
The recipe doesnt make the stated amount. I cut the recipe in half so expected 30 cookies but only got 18. I measured out a tbsp of dough for the first one and made all the others the same size. For the future I would recommend not reducing the recipe. Other than that they turned out great. I also didn't cook the full 15 minutes. More like 11.

Molasses Sugar Cookies

Very good. Didn't have cloves but still tasted good without. Let cookies sit on pan for a minute so they stiffen up slightly making them easier to remove and transfer to cooling rack. Will definitely make again.

These were pretty good but think they could use a tad more salt or something. Maybe seasoning salt. Will make again though.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2010
I used Granny Smith apples and they worked fine. Was a little on the sweet side for me so will either reduce sugar or add 1 more apple.

The Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 20, 2010
The first time I made it the onion and pepper were still crunchy. The 2nd time I made it I sauteed the onion and pepper first and then added it to the meat. I liked it much better the 2nd time. I used A-1 Bold and Spicy steak sauce since that is what I had. Great base recipe that you can change up with different flavors of steak sauce.

Salsa Chicken Burrito Filling

This was ok. Definitely had to add water to the mix. It needed a little more kick to it though. Will try again but add more spices and probably some peppers and onions.

Shepherd's Pie V

Good but I cut in half all the seasonings that it called for. I figured I could add more if need be. Would have been way to salty had I added it all in.

My family loved this recipe. I didnt have all the ingredients to make the gravy but I did have some canned gravy that I used instead. The meat was so tasty and tender. I will definitely make this again.

This was really good. My family loved it. And my coworkers liked my leftovers :) I added some potatoes in and next time I think I will omit the celery and add corn since I'm not a huge fan of celery.

I really liked this recipe. Gave it 4 stars because the topping was a little sweet to me so I will cut back on the sugar next time but other than really good and easy. I used a muffin pan and it turned out great.

This was just ok for me. It's a very easy recipe but I love chicken and dumplings so much that I would rather spend the time to make it the right way.
