Asian Lettuce Wraps with Mustard Vinaigrette

I gave it a 2 for a good start, but it just didn't seem right as is. I used a chicken stock with ginger/onion in it instead of just plain chicken broth. Didn't use the cilantro, used less soy sauce, and more mustard. I cooked my cellophane noodles according to the package and crunched them up a little by cooking them on the pan in a little sesame oil/olive oil.

San Francisco Sourdough Bread

My bread wasn't very sour yet but that was becasue of my starter. This bread baked up beautifully! my husband questioned weather or not I bought it from our bread store. I will definitly keep this recipe and use it again once my starter is more mature.

Easiest Egg Nog

I loved this egg nog, was my first attempt. It was not very thick like the store bought but I liked that. I usually cut the store bought egg nog with equal parts milk, so this recipie was perfect for me.

Sourdough Starter

I had excelent results with this starter. I was a little worried, this being my first time makeing a sourdough starter, but the outcome has been wonderfull. The only reason im giveing a 4 star is because there was no mention of "feeding" in the directions. I took other reviewers comments and feed once a day 1/4c each of warm water and flour.

Sweet Corn Tomalito

This is a wonderfull dish I love to eat on it's own sometimes. It is nice and moist and great flavor. Reminds me of a certain resturants. side :)

Green Bean Stir-Fry

I can't say i've been much of a green bean fan, but I absolutly love this dish. The whole family eats their green beans now even the 2 picky kids. The only change I made was adding a little sesame seed oil when stir frying and then a little bit more to the peanut butter sauce.

Corn Dog Muffins

My kids really enjoy these little corn dog muffins. The only things I changed was adding a bit more cheese and I made these in mini cupcake pans. I cut the hot dogs into 8 peices and these were a great size for the kids.

Amish Bread

I followed the directions exactlly and the bread came out wonderfull. My kids were picking holes in it before I got a chance to slice it. It was a little sweet, but nothing I didn't expect and was definitly not too sweet. This will be replaceing my everyday white bread im used to makeing.

Butter-Dipped Biscuit Squares

I followed the directions exactly with the four, bakeing powder, and salt (had no self riseing four). I cooked the biscuts in the butter, they came out great. Nice and crispy on the bottom but soft in the middle. Definitly my new biscuit recipe. It's the only one i've had such good luck with so far.

Easy Corn and Crab Chowder

The family really enjoyed this recipie, I was worried because my husband is used to New England chowders, but turned out Yummy! I used olive oil instead of bacon/drippings, and boiled my potatoe. Added more crab as we really wanted the crab flavor to come out. Used the full 1/3 cup of flour and the thickness was perfect, a true chowder. Thankyou for this recipie.
