My primary job is being a homeschooling Mom of 4 kids ages 10 to 19. I am also a CPA and work out of my home. I enjoy cooking and baking many different styles of cuisine ranging from classic comfort food to gourmet meals. I'm always trying new recipes and techniques. I also enjoy canning and preserving from our garden. I enjoy sharing my cooking tips with my children. My oldest two sons are right at home in the kitchen and I'm continuing the tradition teaching the younger two now. I can pull off big gatherings pretty well. It could be a party for 2 dozen people with hors'd'ouvres or a full sit down dinner for just as many. I love cooking for a crowd! If you've been cooking long enough and frequently try new things you do have disasters. One particular meatloaf should have been deployed as a SCUD missile. Another oops- don't cool a rounded cake on the rack upside down. It will split open, which is no fun to frost.
